The best pizza

I've been eating De Lorenzo's for 20 years. If you like tomato pies this is the pinnacle of that culinary delight. All they serve is pizza and sometimes there can be a ridiculous wait time. Despite this, most people choose to wait because it's that good. Treat yourself. Enjoy the best tomato pie.

A Friday must. Don't mind the usual wait. Hey if it wasn't delicious there would be no wait. My wife (originally from the Burg area) and I frequented Hudson street often. When Robbinsville opened (after Hudson closed) we bopped on down and we're not disappointed. As good as Hudson St. if not better. Salads are spot on. Delicious. Bop on... More

OK, I've been to just about every pizza place with a reputation in the NJ/NY region. "Delo's" is by far the best. Their attention to quality is unmatched. We always order a large sausage / mushroom pie with extra sausage. Pie comes delivered piping hot with a slight burnt rim crust. Every slice, down to the final one, will maintain... More

I've been eating tomato pies and pizzas for almost 70 years (OMG!) As a kid, I lived for a while near "The Burg" (Chambersburg for non-Jerseyites), an Italian neighbor famous to this day for wonderful restaurants and the place where tomato pies were first introduced to America. DeLorenzo's was situated there from 1947 until around 2012, when they moved to... More

Pizza at DeLorenzo's is to die for. The thin crispy crust is delicious . Salads are so fresh and change with the seasons. Sammy, the owner , is a fantastic person who is always asking, "Is everything OK?" . It's a must restaurant destination if you are in the area. Also, service is great. Only negative, there is usually a... More

Service was excellent, no long wait to get a table, pizza came out hot and quickly, but did not feel rushed to leave. Would definitely go back again.

Well we hadn't been to De Lorenzo's in years, since the Burg actually. The Capressi Salad was great, the tomatoes were nice and fresh. We had two pies one was with sausage the other with spinach. Well first they cut it wierd. The sauce tasted good and the sausage too. The crust, no one cared for. Too thin, more like... More

Original old fashioned tomato Pie, thin crust with chopped tomatoes. Nice seating area. Located off 295 for easy access.

The original De Lorenzo's in Trenton had lines around the block, even in the worst weather! Why, because the pizza was amazing. Now, food is a matter of taste, but De Lorenzo's Tomato Pies are works of rt. That's what they do. No such thing as a "slice". THIS new restaurant has A/C, seating, incredible pizza AND the mot amazing... More

Amazed at the lines waiting for this establishment to open every day. Pizza is very good, waiters are very attentive. They are doing something right. Salads are good as well but do not ask for extra cheese for your pizza, you will not get it as they do not offer it.
