I've been hesitant to write this review, because the food and ambience (other than the loud drunk woman at the table next to us) were great. That was not the restaurant's fault, of course. When we got there, I had to stand and wait until...my husband parked our car before I was seated. However, it got much worse from there. When I asked if I could please substitute spinach for the brussel sprouts (spinach came with several other entrees), I was told that there were no substitutions, and that I could order a side of spinach if I'd like to do so. I said I just wanted a small amount (like the brussel sprouts) and could not see why that was a problem. The host was argumentative, and I finally said that they could bring my lambchops ($59 )with no vegetable. When my entree was served, the host said, (with a very condescending tone) that he was including spinach with my meal only because it was my husband's birthday. It was humiliating and shocking! I have to say the rest of our experience there was terrific, but it was very much marred by the pettiness over the spinach.More

You won’t find better food or service anywhere else nearby. The best meats, seafood and wine selection in North Jersey. Brace yourself for some sticker shock, this is not the restaurant for you if you are on a budget. I love eating here when I...am in NJ. Best restaurant around for a very special occasion.More

I'm not surprised that this visit to Artemios was as good , if not better than all the previous. From the minute we walk in, Sasha is there with a warm smile and gracious hospitality. Ambiance is still sophisticated and elegant. The food was excellent...as noted by moments of silence as we took the time to savor our food in lieu of speaking. Appetizers: Gnocchi in a truffle cream sauce Tuna tartare Burrata Entrees: Filet mignon John Dory Chilean Sea Bass Ahi Tuna Steak Steak Chicken a la France Artemios wows on every visit. The food and service are top notch. I wish they were closer. A true gem in Ringwood.More

Wow, okay so... Hands down the best restaurant in the area. Not even a question/comparison. Has all the accoutrements you'd expect from an upscale restaurant in NYC. From when you walk in to when you walk out, 5 star experience all around. The entire staff...is nothing short of incredible. From the Owner Romeo, to Sasha, Nerti (ToTo) and everyone else helping out. The food... WOW. The menu has something to offer for everyone and if you are a true foodie, you are honestly fine throwing a blind dart at the board and getting whatever you land on. Everything from the cocktails, to the wine list, to the apps, to entrees, to dessert... AMAZING! I didn't even want to write this review because I want to keep this place as my own little secret, however, it is just way too good not to share and have everyone come experience this place. Do yourself a favor, if you are reading this review don't be an idiot... Book a reservation ASAP. You will thank me later.More

Although a bit of a drive for us, we come to AP & P because it is worth the trip. Our dear friends who are regulars introduced us to this fine dining restaurant and it doesn't disappoint. The ambiance continues to be elegant and classy....Our server, Sasha was as gracious and knowledgeable as ever. The food was excellent and we didn't have a covid concern. Grilled octopus oysters Salmon, Dover Sole, and Tomahawk veal chop were excellent. Desserts were very good, especially my crepes Suzette prepared tableside. We loved our dining experience at Artemios and wish it was closer to us.More

I celebrated my 6 year anniversary here and I was blown away! I ordered the salmon with ginger sauce and it was amazing! My boyfriend ordered the lamb and the sauce and tenderness was cooked to perfection. For dessert, they had so many options even...gluten free options but we chose to do the cake. They wrote Happy Anniversary on the cake and even congratulated us. The service was phenomenal! A few staff members always came to check on us. I loved the scenery, the statue and the beautiful piano music being played outside. We sat inside because it was cold, but in the summer I definitely want to go outdoor. It was an hour and 15 minutes from my house but it was worth the drive. Such a unique place that I hope more people get to experience. A 5/5!More

My husband and I like to try special restaurants, and this fit the bill. Both the food and the service were outstanding. We shared a Caesar salad, and we both loved it. He had rigatoni bolognese, and I had lobster ravioli. Both were delicious. In...addition to the menu items, we had little add-ons that made it outstanding. I can't wait to go back.More

I enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch with a friend and enjoyed a delicious veal dish with wine. The cream of pumpkin soup was excellent and the service we received was attentive without being overbearing. We decided to have dessert wrapped so we could enjoy it...later. This would be a great place to celebrate a family occasion or a special date. special occasionMore
