About
This restaurant is an institution in Hunterdon County, NJ. Packed on weekends and an extensive menu. There was a "Mom" and family members still involved. The food delish - best stuffed French toasts - try raspberry cream cheese stuffed toast topped w/raspberry syrup and whipped cream or some of their Mexican breakfast dishes w/a side order of scrapple. Staff always come by to check on your status and see if you'd like a refill of coffee of the like. They're happy to have you and it's at the crossroads of John Ringo and Old York Road! Tiny but mighty...Please consider listing for review purposes:

Passed by many times and finally got chance to stop for breakfast. For some reason we were seated on the porch area despite seating on the inside area. It was cold and even colder every time the door opened. The menu options were surprisingly extensive. The waiter was friendly but it would have been nice if he had explained the specials or if there was a list inside the regular menu as we missed them until we were leaving. This is obviously a local place as the hostess greeted many people by name (and sat them inside). We were not impressed with the omelets and the coffee was awful - even served with milk not cream. Not worth a second stop.

Stopped in on 9-25-17 at 11:47 am. Nice clean and comfortable place. Asked if lunch would be available? waitress looked at the clock and mentioned they do not serve lunch menu till 11:00 am. O.K. so myself and my buddy ordered breakfast sandwiches. One porkroll, egg and cheese on hard roll, and one bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll with 3 extra eggs. Nice sandwiches... but the sandwich with the extra eggs $12.70!!! Oh yes !!! not a joke. May want to ask the price of anything you may want as an extra. Over all it was a nice place. Would stop in again. Just more cautious with any extras.

I love Mom's! The food is simple and delicious. The bacon is extra crispy. I think they must put a press on it when they cook it. Service is alway great. Remember...cash only and leave your phone in the car!

A very nasty and angry male waiter. My friend and I got up and left immediately following his provocation. I wouldn't drop a penny on this place. If you have kids, I would highly recommend NOT bringing them here. The waiter is so nasty that you can expect a verbal argument, at least. It could scare children. We usually go to the Golden Dawn in Levittown for the incredible #1 and #2 breakfast special deals and for the fast friendly service. Or we'll go to the Trenton farmer's market Amish counter for breakfast. So sorry we kicked off our day at this little ringoes dump and are looking forward to returning to our regular stomping grounds. My friend, whose tough as nails, was literally taken aback by the nastiness of our waiter. Be warned.

We eat breakfast and brunch at Mom’s in a regular basis. You can’t tell by the outside but it is an amazing place to eat. Beat eggs Benedict and pancakes ever! If you haven’t eaten here yet you must make it a stop on your travels in the area!

My boyfriend and I went faithfully to Mom's for about 4 months every Saturday, even though it was a bit pricey and the service was just so-so, we loved the quaint atmosphere and local feel. We were usually served by Chris (I think that was his name, only male waiter and after all that time he never warmed up to us or told us his name) We go in this Sunday (1/28/18) & he walks over asks for our drink order & turns away as I'm saying I'd like milk for mine (which he should know after all this time) and throws his hands in the air and shakes his head, comes back with just the mile, no 1/2 & 1/2 for my bf, then when i ask for that walks away w/the same head shake and hand motion, SLAMS the ceramic bowl down on the table, walking away saying "they need to be seated with someone else next time" The woman at the table next to me was astonished and said to me "You did nothing to deserve that treatment, I watched the whole thing" and was more appalled when i told her we were regulars, and on top of that my boyfriend is a 20%+ tipper, even for the so-so service. The only time we have ever had a complaint was when his sandwich was served with sausage instead of ham and we asked for it to be re-done as he can't eat sausage. Needless to say we walked out and went to another establishment. Today I tried to call to speak to a manager/owner and a female answered and handed the phone over to Chris, who i highly doubt is management, so I guess I do not get the opportunity to find out why we were treated this poorly.

Went for breakfast on a Sun morning, before 9. Not too crowded, but much fuller by the time we left. Has an old time feel, but very clean. Great service and very good breakfast - we had omelets, French toast, bacon - all tasted great. would return.

Mom's has fast, no nonsense service. These are local people catering to locals, but once they get to know you, it's just like going over to your friends "Mom's" house for breakfast or lunch. Great coffee, and very yummy breakfasts...ALWAYS HOT which I appreciate.

I had heard some good things so thought we would give it a chance. But it was just disappointing. The service was surly and the food was like "mom-is-having-a-bad-day" food. Skip it and go to a diner in Flemington or head on to Lambertville.

Great breakfast choices. A little pricey but home made, fresh, and very tasty. Good coffee, too. Blueberry pancakes were delicious. We also had smoked salmon eggs Benedict and poached eggs over grilled cheese& bacon.

Breakfast is one of our favourite meals to eat out, so we're always on the lookout for a new spot. How delighted we were to find Mothers right in Ringoes. A quaint kitschy breakfast spot, tiny, with sweet decor. Felt very neighbourhood-centric, not unfriendly but we felt a bit like outsiders. We'll simply just have to go back a few more times. Breakfast was nicely prepared: well seasoned omelette with fresh vegetables and a stuffed French toast. Yum. Good coffee which is always a must. Toast on the average side, but not a deal breaker. Overall great breakfast spot with a nice hometown feel and food.
