This was our second time at Nicholas and we brought our adult children with us for a special evening. Honestly, we were somewhat disappointed in our overall experience. My son asked a question about the menu and the waiter responded in a very condescending manner. We also felt that he was constantly rushing us with ordering and clearing dishes before... More

We had dinner with friends at the Chef's Table in an alcove in the Kitchen. It was wonderful. Full seven course tasting menu (plus a small soup to start). Better yet, six of the courses were different for each person in a couple. So you actually got to try 13 dishes. All were exceptional. The very personable expediter took obvious... More

Consistently one of the best dishes, presentation, and all around top shelf experience, this is your place. The old adage you get what you pay for is alive and well in this NJ gem. The bread, pre fixe menu, drinks, blown glass chandeliers, it all comes nearly together to make sure you leave with a beautiful story to tell. What... More

My wife and I had been meaning to try this restaurant and finally did. While we found it stuffy and pretentious the food was good. One drawback was only two tasting menus(regular menu in the bar only) options. Small portion/plates with a two wine pairing options, both reasonably expensive and probably in my opinion, not worth it. My view point is in the... More

This was my first time visiting this establishment. The appetizers, main course, and desserts were top shelf. The owner has his own wine store and the prices are very reasonable. We sat at the Chef's Table where you get even more special attention, and a variety of dishes. The prices are as high as any top New York City restaurant... More

I had heard that this is the best restaurant now in the area. It was very good, but not incredible. My pork main dish was excellent, my wife's chicken was only good. Service was a little slow, the bar was crowded.

Nicholas (the Owner) just keeps on going and going and going while getting better all the time when that never seems possible. Close your eyes and you could be anywhere in the world with this beyond first class restaurant. It's so good I hate to tell you about it in order to keep it a local secret. Did I mention... More

Came in the other night to have the Bar N special menu. Service was very attentive and the food was terrific. Pork belly app followed by short ribs- really well done! Great wine choice by the somm. All in all we had a great night and will return again soon!

Love this restaurant. The food is always good. Nicholas, the owner can be often found greeting his guests and ensuring everything is perfect. Make sure you try the pork dish on the menu.
