From the moment we were seated it was a total great experience. Our waiter Santo was super friendly and attentive and funny and made the whole evening very enjoyable. The appetizers and the entrees were delicious and a good value. The beef ravioli's were yummy!! I can't wait to go again.

Seated promptly at requested time. Noise level is overwhelming. Waitress Danielle (who was superb)) had to scream to advise of specials. Website menu showed a black angus steak au poivre. Not available -- evidently menu had changed but website not updated. Mussels app was fine and pork chop special quite good.

We dined at Monticello on Saturday. Overall, the dinner was great. Lovely and professional service. We shared a Caprese Salad and a special salad with wonderful fresh figs between the four of us. Plenty for appetizers and great. One of us had the duck breast over broad pasta. She loved it. My wife had a mushroom risotto appetizers as her... More

My wife and I went on a Sunday in order to avoid the Saturday rush. This was our first time here and we were very happy with the service, decor and food. We had mussels as appetizers. This was a nice choice along with the garlic bread served with the mussels. I had Seafood Arrabbiata which was very flavorful. My... More

My husband and I ended up in Red Bank after dropping kids at a concert at PNC. I knew there were tons of restaurants on Broad Street so we just strolled down the street looking at each menu. Not sure why we stopped at Monticello but maybe it was because they have risotto on the menu. My husband had the... More

The food is amazing if you can get through with a horrible waiter with an attitude, we usually split 2 apps between the four of us and asked him how many eggplant rolitinis come with the app and he said 1 1/2! And sure enough they cut one in half! Cheepies! Then my husband asked for a special request and... More

We were the first couple to be seated on a sleepy Sunday (7/26/15) evening in Red Bank. I ordered off the prix fixe menu. I order mussels for my starter and the waiter brought me a salad. I told him it was supposed to be mussels so he told me enjoy the salad and I'll bring the mussels. The next... More

The food was pretty good , mushroom risotto a little on salty side. The service was very poor and very slow.
