Delicious Lunch

I met my friend here for lunch. I don't eat out often, but she is quite the foodie. Although it was difficult to find a parking spot, the restaurant wasn't crowded. There were several tables with diners, but everyone was spaced out, giving the feel of a quiet lunch in a popular restaurant. I had cream of broccoli soup and she had a salad with shrimp. The broccoli soup was delicious and a good temperature. Her shrimp were large and not over cooked; she loved the dressing and wished she could take some home. We had a lovely meal and will return. I'll go back to try dinner after such a good lunch.

We had a pleasant evening out with another couple. The service was very good. Our appetizers were crab cake calamari and french onion soup. We were a little disappointed with the calamari. Very generic. Our entree's were good but the stuffed shrimp was very dry and salty. It was a decent experience.

Glad we found it!

Glad we found this stip mall restaurant. Never would have seen it except a family memner recommended it. Very, very unassuming spot with a friendly staff. Cannot say enough about the wonderful menu. It varies from Hanger Steak to Pasta to Fish and Chips. We tried 3 different plates and each was excellent. My wife swears it was the best Fish & Chips she'd ever had. Everything was proportioned perfectly, and the fresh bread served before the meal was deliscious. We highly recommend The Corner Bistro and will be back soon. BTW: it is BYOB.

Not Following COVID Regulations

When we made our reservation for Corner Bistro, we requested and verified a specific table that we knew was well separated from others. When we got there, about 5 minutes early, we learned they did not honor our request and tried to fit the 5 of us at a table for four. Far worse, that table was very near several other occupied tables, and the restaurant was far in excess of the current state's capacity requirements (which we will be reporting). Since it was prime time for dining on a Saturday night, and they were eventually able to seat us at a large table a sufficient distance from other diners, we stayed. The food, as usual, was good, except for the watery cappuccino. But I was surprised at how little they seemed to care about how they treated us, not only *not* offering a complimentary appetizer, dessert, or even a coffee, but barely even saying a, "We're sorry." That is especially surprising as until now we've been good customers, and were so recognized. For our own safety it will be quite a while, if ever, before we return. And their poor response to these problems only increases our likelihood of finding alternative dining venues for a long time to come.

Loved the Corner Bistro!

A Covid dinner at the local eatery. Used to be Le Peep, which we went to a few times. First timers to C/B. Eggplant soup was the perfect appetizer. We had pasta primavera and chicken Florentine. Couldn’t decide which was better. The wait staff was top notch. Price was good considering the excellent quality $50 for two. We will be back soon and offer.

A 10+ Restaurant

Everything about this restaurant is great. The food, the selection, the service, the staff and the pricing are all top notch. You couldn't ask for a better selection of daily specials. Am sure there is one for everyone's palate. They very quickly joined our list of favorite "go to" restaurants.

Amazing bridal shower

My bridesmaids and family planned a surprise bridal shower for me at The Corner Bistro and it was incredible! Such amazing staff and food, and even though we went over time they let us continue the party on. Would recommend coming here for any occasion!

Someplace new

We wanted to try someplace new. We pass the Corner Bistro daily so decided to try it. It was great! Oscar, our server, was great, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was great, from the goat cheese tart appetizer to our entrees, veal Milanese and almond crusted sole. We are definitely going back!

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting

There were six of us at the table, reservations made well in advance, and we all enjoyed a Thursday evening of music and our own company, but not the eternal wait for our dinners. We waited an hour for our entrees, while other tables were served, on to dessert, and then ready to leave, it seemed. I expect we were a forgotten or lost order in the kitchen, but our server seemed to have disappeared as well, not stopping by our table to check on how we were doing so that we could inquire about the delay. When it all arrived it was quite tasty, but the wait put a damper on our party. We’ll try again and hope for a better experience.

An amazing lunch of Chicken Parm & Nantucket cod.

My boyfriend and I haven’t been back to The Corner Bistro since 2017, and today we were in the area and decided to come for lunch. They have a really nice lunch menu, everything from soups, sandwiches, burgers, veggie wraps, and chicken and fish entrées. It still remains a BYOB, and we ended up bringing our own bottle of sangria. For our lunch, we decided on the chicken parmigiana and the roasted Nantucket cod. Both of us were extremely happy with our selections. The chicken parmigiana is my boyfriend’s favorite dish and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the seasoning on my cod, and the vegetable medley and scalloped potatoes that accompanied the dish. We were too full for dessert, sadly. The only recommendation that I would have for the chef is for him to bring back the complimentary bruschetta that they had when they first opened. It was something that my boyfriend and I really enjoyed, and hearing from our waiter today, other patrons enjoyed as well and would like to see it come back.

Excellent food and service

My husband, daughter and I went for a Saturday pre Mother’s Day meal restaurant a little crowded but didn’t stop the excellent service. We had a eggplant corrozza excellent eggplant sliced very thin breaded with melted mozzarella and red peppers in a rich tomato sauce. My short ribs over fettuccine outstanding, my daughters shrimp scampi over pasta with mixed vegetables had an excellent sauce as well. Desserts especially semifreddo in a blueberry sauce best dessert ever. Prices were low compared to the excellent meal worth a visit or in my case many visits.

Ladies Lunch

Our book club had a lovely lunch here. There was a nice selection and I enjoyed a wonderful salad. Everyone was very pleased with lunch. The wait staff was very nice.

Fair price for fair food

My wife and I went to The Corner Bistro on March 31, 2019. We had a reservation and were given our choice of a couple of tables and immediately seated. The restaurant was nearly filled and the customers seemed happy. Dress is casual and the restaurant is BYOB. We each ordered a salad, which was in the range of $8 and rather small. For our main courses, I chose a pork chop with sausage ($20) and my wife ordered a pasta dish ($17). The pork chop was also on the small side, but not terribly so, and the sausage was cold. The remaining contents on the plate were sufficiently hot, so it was odd to me but I ate it that way. My wife’s pasta dish was served in one of these large plates with an indentation, so it’s sort of like a bowl surrounded by plate. Again, the portion was small but, she said, spicy and tasty. We did not order desert. The service was excellent and the staff very nice. They never made us feel in any rush to leave. They have outdoor seating, which would be nice in the warmer season. Summary: nice place, excellent service, fair prices, average food.
