This place is a BYOB It's not fancy but the fish is always excellent. They have great oysters too. The wait is usually long so make a reservation well in advance if you don't want to wait an hour for a table.

Great service, usually very crowded. Appetizers across the board are very good. Can't go wrong. Catfish blackened is very good. Good dessert choices.

I've never really been to a restaurant that so consistently delivers a great meal as Blue Point Grill. Fresh seafood. Compelling variety. Appetizers I get every single time, like buffalo calamari. We've been a hundred times - with kids, without kids, with other couples, by ourselves. It never ever disappoints. Impressive.

I've been to many seafood restaurants in the U.S., this one ranks among my top three. Located just across the street from Princeton University this is a relatively small, casual, and lively spot that seems to be always crowded. Make reservations early. There is a large selection of very fine oysters and very fresh seafood. The oysters are perfectly presented... More

This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The staff was very friendly and we were seated promptly (we had reservations). Like the other reviews noted, the restaurant isn't beautiful or have a ton of ambience, but the variety of the menu and the quality of the food quickly make up for that. We started with the oyster... I've been here numerous times and it never disappoints. The seafood is always fresh and the menus are printed every day. A lot of their seafood is wild caught (and noted as so on the menu). The Barnegat scallops, pistachio and Parmesan trout, lemon sole, and Chilean sea bass are all exceptional. The calamari (both fried and buffalo) are fresh... More

The Bluepoint Grill in Princeton is a very charming, warm place to be on a cold winters night. We arrived early, 5 PM, but understandable why the place was completely full by the time we left at 6:30 PM. Our server, whose name escapes me, was wonderful. She was very friendly, and made our birthday celebration dinner very special. We... More

This is not a beautiful restaurant. The décor is not the attraction. Everything else is. The staff could not be nicer. They are smiling, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. If you like fish and seafood this is the place for you. No, actually if you don't like fish this might be the place for you. That is how good... More

I have been coming here for years and have tried so many dishes. I have never not liked anything. The seafood is always fresh and sauces always delicious- making even the foods I'm not crazy about taste amazing. I like the food so much I once tried to finish my entire app, entree and dessert and was so full I... More
