Each time I go here for dinner, I wonder why I do not go even more often, It is by far the best seafood in Princeton. Innovatively prepared and in rather copious portions. Efficient pleasant service. Gourmet quality. Monday special Japanese sushi chef on site. Also there are outdoor tables. Must reserve. The experience is totally worth the somewhat noisy... More

One of THE best seafood places I have ever been too. Fresh, fantastic seafood snd beautifully prepared. The staff was friendly and quick. The place is cozy and if the evening is pleasant sit outside to soak up the Nassau street vibe. The fried oysters with the house-made tartar sauce are delicious. Come with your own wine or beer as... Fresh fresh fish (the fish store is next door) with vegetables and sides separately ordered, big enough for a family. Tables inside and out, often a wait. It's not our favorite though because even when we ask to go light on the butter they just don't seem to "get" low fat cooking.

BPG has an amazing number of different types of fish on the menu; we had portuguese sardines, icelandic char, aust. Barricuddi, and a pistaccio encrusted tilapia all wonderful just a littl undersalted. Side garlic potatoes a little mushy but tasty, vg coleslaw. very so-so bread. I did not care for the extremely close quarters as i could hear my nerghboring... More

The room was very cold throughout the entire dinner. I ordered the paella with was to have scallops, sausage, shrimp, and another fish but it only had four muscles which tasted frozen and the shrimp were so overcooked they were a tight "C" and were very chewy. Also my wife's monkfish seemed over cook and was very tough as well... More

Excellent oyster selection and big variety in seafood. Good and friendly service and you could sit outside. Bring your own wine and enjoy a very nice atmosphere.

Awesome restaurant with perfect selection of oysters and delicious preparation of fish. Local seafood has been represented widely as well as all over the world treats. Good service. Several blocks from Princeton University at the main street. Pricey but worth it. Surprisingly BYOB place. A liquor store just a block from it. A must to try in Princeton.

Always good but noisy inside. Not the place for an intimate dinner or people with hearing problems. Staff is very well trained & always pleasant. A neighborhood staple in our diets!

If fish or shellfish is your thing, you cannot get any closer to fresh as the adjoining fish market is the supplier to this restaurant. The menu is filled with choices of shellfish and fresh fish, prepared perfectly. Our dinners of Swordfish and Halibut were heavenly. No previously frozen here. Garlic mashed potatoes were over whipped, but tasty. Bread... nothing... More

When we came in to get on the list the wait was 35 minutes and well worth it. We didn't know it was BYO so they sent to closest liquor store. During our wait time we realized that a reservation is strongly recommended. My husband ordered the Wedge of Lettuce with blue cheese dressing and it was loaded with fresh... More
