This is a great place to grab pizza and beer with kids. A group of us went one Friday night, with our kids (ages 4-7). We ate outside. I was actually quite impressed with the pizza. It was really good! Thin crust, which I love. The sandwiches and wraps looked good too. We got pitchers of beer, which made it easy. You scan the QR code when you get there to order and pay for food. You have to order drinks at the bar. Cash only at the bar. The food was delivered to our table fairly quickly. The pizza was @$15 and two pitchers of beer was @$32. Very casual, kid-friendly restaurant, with great pizza!

Probably the best place for beer and food in the area. I cannot say the best, as I have not tried them all, but the service and value for money makes me return rather than try to find something else.

We have an informal group of people who go to the Ivy INN for trivia night. Which is every Tuesday from 7 to about 9pm No registration required, just show up , give your team a name and play. Categories are general knowledge, name that tune, history and geography , sports . We have a lot of fun , indulging in friendly competition with like minded trivialities Since it is a local bar, we always run into people we have not seen for a while. PS if you win you get a 30 dollar Ivy INN gift certificate

The Ivy Inn is great place for a lunch or for beer with friends after work. The crew is friendly. When the weather is nice you can enjoy a drink outside on a deck.

New karaoke DJ sucksass. Worst karaoke night ever. DJ has no order or plan for who he calls. Waited for over an hour and half.

I was here for a little while and it was a fun place to hang out. After a certain time there is a small cover charge (was Friday night). There is an outside area also in the back.

We came here because my wife wanted to watch a Wimbledon match and grab a beer. We were happy to see the game on when we walked in, so that was good. Oddly the bartender asked me what I wanted, but not my wife. He put my beer in front of me while my wife sat there 5 minutes until I was able to flag down the bartender to serve her. Not a huge issue, but something I thought strange.
Good selection of beers. We decided to grab lunch while there. I ordered the wings with hot sauce. Very good wings but not spectacular. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich, which she said was outstanding and the clam chowder which she thought was good, but a bit salty.
Overall a decent place and I would come back.

Great place to stop in and have a Bud or 2! Mix of Town and Gown during the school year. Ask for Adam and have a great customer experience complete with jokes and magic tricks if he is in the "right" mood!!

For those of us who have history in the area, the Ivy Inn and Hoagie Haven are two long surviving establishments because they know their customer and cater to them. If you're looking for an unpretentious, casual drink or meal at a value price this is the place for you. If not, go somewhere else.
When you walk in, it is definitely a bar. Not the upscale swanky type, the neighborhood corner type. You can sit at tables also. Seat yourself and just let someone at the bar know you're there if a server doesn't come over. I found the servers friendly and helpful.
I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a Miller Lite pint to hear $2.75 and to see black bean burger sliders amongst the menu options. All food was reasonably priced, was freshly prepared and served promptly. My husband had a BLT and the chowder and enjoyed them both.

Stopped in for a drink before dinner next door at the Blue Point Grill. Asked for my usual, Bombay Sapphire on the rocks, no fruit. What they served me was not that (though I did see it was poured from a Sapphire bottle).

REALLY? What do you think we're running here? Well gin in a Bombay bottle? We have better things to do than save $.50 on your drink by pouring booze into booze into booze.. Maybe you palate was off as you hadn't filled it with fish yet. Think before you write--infuriating. And be CERTAIN as your fishmonger is reciprocally, that your car is in the back of this building--
If you have a real problem then you call me on my cell phone. If not--go out and shake the stink off--don't sit at a computer and sulk.
