Brought my family to Conte's on Witherspoon in Princeton. Very Disappointed :( Not the same place I remembered.. . Thin crust, sad, was Very weak and the sauce tasted just poured out of the can. Where was the thin crust with bite, not dough, and that, Ummm, simmered tomato sauce with the cheese? I can get better from ShopRite.

I've been coming here for a few years now. For the reviewer that said the pizza was tasteless my recommendation is to get garlic on the pizza and then add additional toppings if you choose. For a time there this was my favorite in the area but I've been leaning more toward the Neopolitan style lately. I still occasionally like... More

We've been coming here for almost 20 years. They have the best pepperoni pizza which is saying a lot in a region that has some great pizza places. The pizza is thin and crispy and the pepperoni is small and thick and curls up to make little bowls of pepperoni juice. Yum Conte's is a local place and has a... More

People I know raved about this place being the best pizza ever...really? They brought home 5 different pies, and I tried a piece of each, and way overrated and tasteless.

Pie was decent...No comparison to the Essex County pies but was good in a pinch. Place was clean and staff friendly...I would go again if in area

Never been here but this hidden gem is just across from the Princeton municipal building and pool. It is an unassuming bar set behind an open space. They have fantastic pizza but only full pies. Packed with locals. Place to go when teaching at the hall!

Conte's is a great place for pizza. Nothing pretentious about it. A nice long bar and a nice big, open dining area. Full bar, and a very good selection of beer, with lots of American standards, plus local faves like Rolling Rock and Yuengling. Short wine list with mostly house wines--but there is a chianti, of course! The pizza is... More

A friend had recommended this location to me on several occasions. We were meeting for lunch in the area so I suggested we go here since he was a veteran of the place. Mid-week at lunch time it can get very busy, a good sign. We decided to eat at the bar and enjoy one of the three large flat... More

Got in and there was no one at the entrance or a sign asking you to wait to be seated, so we walked to the only table available. After a few minutes, the waiter passed by and said something that I didn't understand; when I told her, she said she was talking to my husband, who didn't get what she... More

This place offers amazing pizza at a good price. The reason I didn't give them five stars is because there is a better option in Princeton that is cheap and faster. SLICE BETWEEN.
