Pretty elegant diner since refurbishing. Spacious and airy and good food too. We both had chicken, spinach and cheese panini. Nice thin bread, real chicken breast and basil sauce. Ate half for lunch and the rest for dinner. So good!

I'm a local so I don't go to this place very much...kind of sticks out like a sore thumb in a rural area but their MRD signature salad is great....scallops, shrimp, crabmeat..huge and less than $15

We live about 5 mins drive from this diner. If you have never eaten at a diner in NJ, it is an experience that I have not really found in other states across the US. If you are heading down to the Jersey Shore, this is a great diner to stop in for breakfast, lunch or diner. They have reasonable... More

I stopped in after returning from Killington, Vermont. My chef salad was huge with lettuce, tomato, ham, turkey, roast beef, swiss cheese, hard boiled egg, and a bowl of creamy blue cheese dressing. They also have dinner specials in the $ 10:00 to $ 15:00 dollar range, which this area needs for us working folk. A little out of the... More

We always stop at the Maurice River Diner when we go to the beach. The restaurant is clean and attractive. Plenty of parking. We've never had a long wait. The service is prompt and attentive. The food has always been good. I especially like the atmosphere and Art Deco decor.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the nearby East Point Lighthouse because, quite frankly, there was no other place to eat in the area. It's a diner with the typical huge menu featuring just about anything and everything you can imagine. Everything we had was good but not extraordinary. I do however need to comment on the portion size.... More

Delicious, reasonably priced and large portions. Desert was totally sinful, the blackout cake which is chocolate on chocolate cake, very moist. Quick service, very pleasant atmosphere.
