Not a great method of picking up the food.

We did takeout from here and I had to stand outside on the sidewalk in the cold for at least 20 minutes. We had a large order but other people from Grub Hub and Doordash were picking up small individual orders. You have to wait at the window, give your name, and then wait some more. I prefer when you have to call a restaurant from your car when you get there and they tell you if your order is ready. The Japanese food was average. Nothing stood out.

Decent food; chicken could definitely has seen better days. Waiters service are nice. It’s basically Chinese food disguised as Japanese food. Not too bad but definitely dated.

Stopped by on memorial day weekend because we were in the mood for hibachi. If you have been to arirang and mahzu this place doesnt compare. The fried rice and noodles were barely edible, the lobster was overdone and way too salty, the salad was soaking in dressing. As for the sushi- mediocre. My husband didn't even eat one of his hand rolls because the spicy tuna had more crunch in it than actual tuna.

Nice selection and good food

We eat Sushi a lot and had never been here. There selection almost makes it too hard to decide. But the food that came out was overall well presented and good. Though the jalapeno tuna was very vinegary. Yakitori chicken was a little dry. Rolls were a good size, and everyone enjoyed theirs.Service could have been a little faster and the delivery of food also. And I am not sure why some restaurants do this, but one appetizer came out for one person and it was 5 min before the others did...

Exceptional sushi

Sushi is fresh and plentiful. Often have specials that are unique and delicious. Staff is attentive. Never had the hibachi, but the plates look and smell wonderful!

Awesome sushi!

Excellent sushi, very good service. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. We tried a couple of unusual rolls and they were great as well (sorry I can't remember what they were called). Highly recommended.

Nice and quaint sushi joint

Me and my fiancé were in the area and wanted some sushi. (Well I wanted sushi lol) Walking in I was a little skeptical because it was a Saturday night and the place wasn't really that busy. The tiny woman who greeted us and sat us in a quaint, with a hint of romance booth was very sweet. The shrimp tempura and valentine roll that I ordered was delicious and I couldn't help but lean over the table and steal a few pieces of shrimp from my finances hibachi plate. His shrimp was very well seasoned and delicious. After we ate everything lol we asked about desert which I'm so glad we did. They serve the rolls of ice cream and have many different flavors to choose from. The woman steered us toward the Oreo flavor and we were not disappointed. We shared a cup of the Oreo rolled ice cream which was topped with some yummy goodies. We left pleasantly full with a half bottle of wine in tote. If in the area we would definitely visit again.

sushi was good

went here with the family----since three of us wanted sushi and had large appetites we went for the "Love Boat " for three(very nice combo of sushi and sashimi etc.) we ate it all -it was very fresh. Seemed like the most bang for your buck.Its BYOB also helps. Wait staff was attentive. would return.

For the sushi...

Sushi was the selling point for this place. Wife loved the PP Beach roll and my sashimi was as expected. Pad Thai was mediocre, but to be expected as its a Japanese Hibachi and Sushi place and not a Thai Restaurant. Service could have been better. One app came out after my main course and we had our meals almost finished before the couple we were with even received there's. I would go back for sushi for sure. I just hope for a better waitstaff experience.

Ok sushi not for price

The quality of the sushi here isn't as good as I expected it to be considering how fancy everything was made out to be and the reviews the spicy tuna was filled with crunchy and the soup had no taste to it, Ikko in brick is way better and more affordable next time I will go there

After reading some of the bad reviews, I was a little concerned about bringing the family here. We had a hibachi dinner. The food was typical for a hibachi restaurant. The service was good. It's a bring your own, so remember that. Food is fine, no funky smell. Again, no complaints.

Delicious Sushi!

If you are looking for a fantastic meal filled with delicious sushi this is the place. The ambiance inside is both warm and inviting and the food is prepared right before you (if you sit at the sushi bar). There is also a room for hibachi although I have yet to try that as I'm always going back for their delicious fresh fish. Even when I have gotten take out the "decor" around the sushi makes me feel as if I'm eating at the restaurant.

Place is s bit outdated and has a funky scent, definitely needs be refreshed but food was ok I've had better and larger portions didn't like that you could get refills free other establishments offer it especially when you got kids you know that normally they have more than one drink! It's a BYO. Prices are average. But wouldn't go out of my way for a second round.
