We rarely get to the shore unless it’s a really big occasion like Father’s Day. We ordered to go the grouper Milanese, tri colored potatoes, arugula salad, mango bbq babyback ribs, mexican street corn, eggplant pie, meatballs, prosciutto rolls, sandwich of the day for Saturday..eggplant,...prosciutto, arugula and tomato with fresh mozzarella, cheese platter, ricotta and spinach arancini. Shall we go on? It was all so fresh and delicious 🤤 I couldn’t ask for a better selection of food. No we didn’t eat it at the same time. We still have a refrigerator full.More

We eat a lot of Italian food 🥘 but this place is fantastic. The meatballs are mostly meat and not overly breaded. The sausage was like nothing else we have experienced in our 37 years in New Jersey. Look out New York because this place...is a serious challenge for everyone who loves Italian food. There pasta was so genuine and flavorful with the homemade sauce. Trust me when saying this place is incredibly good 👍.More

There is nothing to dislike about Joe Leones. Great food made with quality ingredients. Always interesting daily specials...and the sandwiches are made with the best bread around. Worth every penny and then some.

Their food is actually quite good but they, as a company, cannot be bothered by their customers. They REFUSE to take any orders in person (!); have you ever heard of such a thing!!!??? They tell you to order on-line but their website is so...inferior not even allowing you to select a date! only a time! WTF!!! My husband went there today, they refused to take our order, said to go to the website, said they don't deliver anymore and that you had to pick up your orders from some firehouse!!!! I even have a gift card to this place that they gave me because they screwed up my last order with them but I will forego that gift card just to not have to deal with them. It appears they 1) can't handle the volume and 2) are taking it out on their customers.More

Sure it won’t be a secret for long! JL opened another store in Manasquan NJ March 2022 - we anxiously awaited - Center Food Market was good but the substitution/addition of JL to Manasquan is GREAT! During 2020-2021 they served their loyal and first time...customers like family! Curbside pickup in Point Pleasant, grab and go in Sea Girt with “person counter outside” - shows they tried the best they could to keep us all protected, even though annoying wait sometimes…all I can say is HOT TABLE is back in Manasquan…no cooking required the entire summer! When you go in, look how they kept it original, like a market when we were kids!!!!More

I walk into what is supposed to be a "real' Italian deli and the first thing I see is SALSA. It doesn't get any dumber than that. ZERO for this place based on that, and the place is a maybe a C- by New York...standards.More

Italian food is off the charts! Went to grab sandwiches before heading to the shore for my daughters 8th birthday. Jim found out it was her birthday while we were in the store and actually bought her cookies! She couldn’t stop talking about them saying...they were the best cookies she’s ever had. Super friendly 10/10!More

A trip down the shore is not complete without a visit to Joe Leone’s. We stopped there today on our way home. Being that it’s Monday, we could get right in, not that I ever mind waiting in line at this gem. A gentleman opened...the door and welcomed my five year old son and I. He was so friendly and even complimented my little guy on his light up boots. Talk about a warm welcome! We went right to the homemade pasta and sauce, grabbed a pizza dough for lunch one day this week, and of course had to get the fresh mozzarella and bruschetta! The gentleman who was behind the counter was so sweet, making each selection perfect and even sharing his favorites. We decided on chicken Milanese, the pasta special, and chicken parm. He wrapped everything so well so it would withstand the car ride home with no problem. A kind woman who worked there came right over with a cart to put my basket on. What a kind gesture and much appreciated. The people that work there are like no other! The food is beyond amazing, but it’s the workers that make you feel like a million bucks. I can’t wait to go back! See you soon!More

Whenever in Pt Pleasant we take the time on the way out to pick up some of the best and freshest tasting Italian deli you will find in the state. Rice balls, Broccoli Rabe, Eggplant and Mushrooms on this visit. And of course some bread,...Fresh Mozzarella and the Red Peppers. Enjoy!More

Very well organized store. Helpful staff. Cold cuts are fresh, cookies are delicious, hot foods are very good. Their bread is amazing. We love their chicken milanese and eggplant parm.
