My friend and I had visited several years ago and . We were looking forward to a good meal considering the crazy world we are living in
Dina was our waitress: friendly and efficient. Great special list!
We decided a
On sharing a delicious arugula salad with endive, pine nuts and a light vinegar and oil dressing
My friend had the attic char and I had the duck : both were delicious.
Interior is extremely pleasant.. pricey but worth it

Karen the owner was super sweet, I’m a very food finicky person. But she made sure I was taken care of, the food and the services were the best. The duck was super good. Can’t wait to come back’

We were discussing before we arrived how infrequently we have had a really special, well prepared meal in all the times we go out to eat. This was the one to remember. The ambiance, the better wine we brought with us, the hostess, the service - excellent. The best part, though, was the food. The quality, the presentation, freshness? This sets the standard. Everything was outstanding. We were all more than pleased with our selections and all argued we had the best meal. Since I am writing this review, I had the winner, lol. Duck with black currant sauce - to die for. The PEI oysters were decidedly fresh, the salad, excellent. And dessert? Diet be damned. A dining experience well worth the cost - highly recommend it.

We were given a gift certificate just prior to Covid 19. We didn't want to wait any longer to use it as we didn't want any trouble if we delayed any longer.. I am so glad that I read about 5 pages of reviews before going there to pickup a takeout order. Before placing our order I asked how much it was worth. I was told $100.
When I arrived and the female owner took one look at the certificate she said that she could not honor it. It was blank. She didn't check her book or the computer. Just told me that (our son was out $100). When I told her that I had called a little before placing the order and the dollar amount was confirmed, she repeated that it was blank. It was mailed directly from them to us, I had the envelope with me thanks to the reviews putting me on alert. She then decided to honor it. Be aware if you huy a gift certificate there to make sure they fill it out in front of you. This could be a scam. Collect the money, mail out a blank form and refuse to honor it. SO glad I had the envelope with me.
That said, the food was really good. Still hard to believe one can spend $95.00 and get 2 pieces of asparagus with 1 meal and no salad unless ordered separately.
Pleasant atmosphere, well done. Food was perfectly cooked.

Had one of the worst dining experiences coming to this place for dinner tonight. Was greeted by a hostess who was on the phone when we walked in and then proceeded to take another call after she acknowledged us. Seated outside. Due to weather from Hurricane Ira, we asked after being seated if it’s ok to move to an indoor table instead. The answer was no since they already booked our indoor table spot to another customer. Reminder that this is a Wednesday night on a bad weather night in the last days of the summer. The kickers was when I went inside to use the bathroom, there were 5 empty tables and the hostess was playing candy crush!
Waitress was visibly angry when we did not order appetizers and made us feel extremely uncomfortable by this. Waitress only offered “a hunk of cheese” as a vegetarian option. Surprisingly the food was solid and the busboy was the only decent employee we encountered. To add, my side vegetable dish came out 7 mins after my entree arrived and they lied on the menu that the flambé would be table-side.
Advice for the chef there
- go to another restaurant- your current front end staff are dragging you down.

I loved the "old" Daniel's Bistro - my favorite restaurant in this country. The food was great & the atmosphere was very refined & classy. New DB has the atmosphere of a diner - too bright, loud & decorated with tacky kitsch. Server was great & food was okay but... Green beans were so covered in garlic that I couldn't taste the bean. Scallops were good but over sauced. Risotto was meh.

We had a wonderful family dinner at Daniel’s Bistro and enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere & friendly staff. So nice coming out of Covid & back to dining here. I enjoyed the barramundi and shared a crab cake appetizer & haricot vert side. My husband raved about the halibut special with its light citrus wine sauce, shrimp & asparagus. Everyone enjoyed their varied menu choices. A nice bonus to Daniel’s Bistro is the BYOB option, which allowed us to share a few bottles of wine together. The wait staff was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. It was a nice fifteen minute walk for us from the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk, but there was parking on the street and in their lot on a Sunday evening. Recommended.

Bland, Bland, Bland. No atmosphere, and noisy. Portions were fine. Service was fine. But when you're paying this much for dinner you expected to be seasoned and taste great. French onion soup was made with chicken stock very little seasoning. My mushroom appetizer that was supposed to have four different type of mushrooms maybe had 2 was just ok. We both had the halibut special good size portion was good. It was served with rizzuto if you could find it. First time here totally disappointed.

This was our first post-pandemic visit to Daniel's Bistro and we were thrilled to see that they haven't lost a step. Staff were welcoming and the food superb. I had the Barramundi (Australian Sea Bass) and my wife had the stuffed pork chop special. Both were excellent. We shared an excellent ricotta cheesecake for dessert. The noise level is moderate and we were able to carry on a conversation across the table. It's a BYO, so entree prices are a bit higher than full-service restaurants but well worthit.

New owner/chef, Moussa Bass, is an excellent addition to Jersey Shore dining. My favorite dish when rating a restaurants is Duck. Whether it be Duck Confit, sliced Duck Breast, or Duck L’Orange…let the chef use his magic. Here the Duck is pan roasted, served with seared foie Gras, and a sauce of black currants and pinot noir. It was spectacular, both in appearance and taste. This will be hard reservation to get this summer, I wouldn’t wait to call.

Daniel’ Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Point Pleasant Beach. Owner Chef Bass is a gracious host who warmly greets his dinner guests. The staff is attentive and engaged and the service is impeccable. But the fabulous food is the true star. Every dish shows attention to detail and is consistently prepared. Danil’s Bistro is a true gem at the Jersey Shore.

Well Covid 19 stalled restaurants but Daniels reopened and didnt forget who they were! This restaurant continues to impress everyone we bring here! We went for the cowboy steaks last night and i would rate them with the best steakhouses in the US! Appetizers were great as usual and service was top notch. Karen and Daniel aim to make your experience the best everytime and they still hit the mark everytime! Great job Kelly on great service also. We will be back as often as possible!

We stumbled upon Daniel’s and were so glad we did! Without a reservation, we were lucky to get a table outside. This was one of the best dinners we’ve had lately - if not THE best!! it is a bit pricey, but well worth it! The food and the service were excellent! We got the scallops and the halibut special and would’ve loved to have had dessert, but were too full! We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend Daniel’s! Everything was just perfect!!! (Including the risotto, green beans, and excellent hot roll! :)
