Been coming here for years during fall surf fishing trips. Usually by myself. Occasionally with others ( wife, son, friend). Usually sit at counter. Tables good too. Fresh seafood, excellent service, friendly staff. Always full and happy afterwards! A Gem! Always good food.

Yes the Lobster Bisque is FABULOUS. As well as the mussels and steamers. That is just for starts. Everyone at the table had something different and everything was delicious. Servers were very attentive, kept the food coming and eliminated the dirty dishes continually. After the meal you are close to the Jenkinson Boardwalk. Great location for a comfortable walk or... About 5 years ago I'd get the bisque with chunks of lobster, now it's nothing. Tastes like heavy cream. Skip it as it's not worth it

Had to go here, son's nickname is Spike. Lobster roll was good, but more seasoning than I prefer. Son had mussels, which he said were delicious. Very busy, but service was good.

try spikes red (chowder). Everything's fresh and honest food. May have to wait for a seat, longer for a table. Been there forever.

Stopped in to take some seafood home and the "server" behind the counter acted like I was bothering them, he did not know if the fish was wild caught and from the USA. Took my business elsewhere...

First time at Spikes & we will definitely return A nice casual place with a nice menu . We each had the 1/2 sandwich special which was a great deal- the lobster bisque soup with the flounder & the Manhattan clam chowder with the lobster salad sandwich hit the spot. It also came with potato salad (just ok) & coleslaw... More

This restaurant offers amazing food in such a family atmosphere!! My family has gone in groups of 11 or more and more we have always been satisfied! From the first time you walk in the foot you are satisfied and feel instantly at home! During the summer there is always a line outside the door. The food is locally caught... More

I love this place. The seafood is very fresh and nothing is fried. It's not a fancy place, but it is very casual come as you are kind of place. The calm chowder red stuff and white stuff is excellent. And the entrees are great
