I have never had a bad meal at Sweet Lulas. It is a little pricey, but I would rather pay a little more for a fantastic meal then to pay less for a mediocre one. On late Saturday nights Lula will sing and she is really good. She will even sing Happy Birthday to you if you say it is... More

My lunch of fish tacos was quite delicious with fresh tempura fried fish and fresh toppings. Raspberry iced tea topped off the meal. Service was fast and friendly.

Have been to Lula's before and had a good meal on a weekend, however a bit pricey. We decided to try the mid week three course special for $20.00. What a mistake, I guess you get what you pay for. I would hope that they had these specials to promote the restaurant, but it did not work for us. I... More

This was my 3rd trip to this restaurant. Food is very good, service not so. Lula, who sings intermittently on the weekends, has a superb voice. On one occasion, we had to be wait for about 15 minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant. They were not under staffed; the staff just ignored us. I don’t know how... More

I love the food but I am appalled that the poor server / waitress had to answer phones, bus tables, serve food, take orders, and basically do everything by herself. I was there on a busy Saturday afternoon with a show going on at the Pitman Theater and there were two (2) chefs but only one server. This is completely... More

The four of us ordered from the Midweek Madness menu where soup, salad and an entree were offered at $20. The entrees ordered were also available on the regular menu. We had heard such good things about the restaurant and were expecting delicious meals. Those that ordered the fish thought it to be just fair. I ordered the pork tenderloin... More

It is rare that I write a review, but I thought the customer service was unusually poor on a Saturday night. In addition to the poor service, the sound level in the restaurant was uncomfortably loud. The first indication of unfriendly service was during the ordering when the waitress could not provide information about the characteristics of the mussels on... More

This is a very good restaurant with a nice ambiance. There's a silent movie screen and silent movie playing in the place. It's white tablecloth, seating a tad bit close together but by far not the worst. Lula is charming and her husband is the chef. The bread is baked in house and is wonderful. I was there on a... Found this cute local place across the street from the Broadway Theatre; I had show tickets for a matinee. The place was fairly busy due to the show. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us or seat us. I did notice only one waitress and a "cook" in the restaurant. Uumm, poor planning on the owners part. When... More
