Having been to many sushi places from San Diego to New Jersey this is the best I've had so far in NJ. Is it the best you'll ever have? No. But good luck within a 20 mile radius! Other food also it's good not great...More

Stopped for lunch today and had the box lunch and it was great. Good and friendly service. Used the rest room and it was extremely clean. Nice to see this in a restaurant. Kind of an indication how the kitchen is.
I'm not very adventurous in the sushi department, but the special sushi rolls here are always tasty and fresh. My fiance and I visited on a weeknight (it wasn't very busy) and the service was moreso hands-off. Would like to return for hibachi.
We've enjoyed Makoto for special occasions and and evening out. The staff is friendly and attentive. The selections are plenty including sushi (I can't give a review about sushi since I don't eat it) The beef is always tender and flavorful - same for chicken...More
Went there for a lunch on a Saturday, was good food, but nothing that would was remarkable. The Hibachi show was done very well and the kids were thrilled.

Hands down...worst service ever. Left $0 tip. 1 1//2 hour before we received our food. No apology, no explanations for poor service. Neglected even more after we complained. Pitiful...will never go back!
