Stopped for lunch and had a great meal. I asked for a suggestion and was presented with an A+ dish. I had the fish with mushrooms and it was so good. Great flavors. I will go back as this is my kind of place. Real...good stuff.More
Very hard to find in the greater Philadelphia area, this Colombian restaurant has all of the typical traditional dishes, and does a good enough job to even impress abuela. My favorite Arepas de Choclo and all of the traditional breakfast foods are available, and the...Bandeja Paisa is large enough for two, or enough for this white capo guy.More
I went during my lunch break and I was so glad I chose Tierra Colombiana. I get sad because good Colombian food is rare around these parts of town, but knowing this little gem is within driving distance from my job makes me so happy....The Bandeja Paisa is amazing and the empanadas....I couldn't just eat one. I took some more to go for later. And the soup...yum! Specially on a cold day. Food is delicious, service is fast and friendly, and prices are right on point!More
Went there today with my Colombian wife. Have been praying for a good and authentic Colombian restaurant in South Jersey four years now. No more driving to Elizabeth to get our fix! Empanadas were spot on with a really good aji to go with. Next...had a cup of sopa de albondiga. It was excellent. Finished up with a great Bandeja Paisa... And my wife riled me out of there. Will definitely be back very often from here on out. A must for serious foodies!
Thank you Mi Tierra Colombia!More
Very tasty and well prepared meals. Authentic menu and Colombian cooking. The service was prompt and friendly. Clearly a labor of love with a homey, welcoming atmosphere. The dinner specials were about $11 but portions were a bit small for the price. Look forward to...returning.More
Good Food, good Service, Family oriented, very homey. Love it will go back again and again. The Owner, Marcos and his wife are friendly, the daughters are little charms. I admire folks that take pride on what they have accomplished on their own. All the...wood work, décor and paintings were done by husband and wife. They should be proud of what we are calling 'El Rinconsito de Pennsauken'. Not to mention authentic Colombian music.More
We tried all appetizers and all were really good; the arepa de choclo, the empanadas, chorizo, chicharrón, pan de bono.
Everything you try you will like!
Maria our server was extremely helpful.
You will not regret!
I have eaten here twice and both times the food has been excellent. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The arepa de choclo with cheese is a great appetizer choice. The service was excellent and the owners took the time to talk with everyone at our...table.....an excellent choice for local Colombian food without going into Philadelphia. Give it a try, you won't be sorry......More
