We stopped en route from New York to Philly based on TripAdvisor reviews. This place is a gem - great service and amazing food. The pasta e fagilo was impeccable as was the wood fired pizza.

All of the specials are great, fish is fresh, veal thin and pasta excellent. Service is fast and friendly. Only possible complaint is the volume making it difficult to to carry on a conversation but the food is so good you will not want to talk while your eating anyway.
Food was great , as was the service! I made reservations for 4 & was promptly escorted in when we arrived.
Reservations promptly honored. Decor nothing special. Service was very good, attended to by several different staff members. The starters were just fair. Lobster bisque missing something, kind of bland. Maybe too much flour? Caesar salad also needs something. The pappardelle with sausage and mushrooms was awesome. Couldn't finish it all. The lasagna was very tasty, didn't hold its shape too... More
Had a wonderful dinner with 3 other individuals. Service and food was excellent. All my friends enjoyed their own selection. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Don't pass up on the specials as the chefs really outdo themselves. Also save room for their homemade desserts !! Yum!
We've gone to Eccola many times over the past 22 years! Last week was our anniversary so we were looking forward to our evening out. The service is competent but not warm anymore. The big disappointment though was that favorite appetizer "grilled calamari !" They now cut it up into pieces instead of the steak. It was dry and tough,... More
The quality is top shelf... albeit a little pricey. The Branzini was fresh and excellent. Service - Top shelf, too! Didn't hurt that Erik Estrada (Ponch from CHips) stopped by our table for a photo op. :)
While on a business trip, my co-workers took me to dinner at Eccola. Once past its strip mall location, the interior of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. My Caesar salad and sweet potato gnocchi were outstanding. I ordered a glass of Sangiovese, and it was sufficient. My only complaint (and reason for the 4-star review) was due to the coffee... More
I had lunch at Eccola last week. It is probably the 30th time I have eaten there in the last 3 years and it has never disappointed. It is not cheap but everything is good starting with the sourdough bread. I guess their biggest specialty is their grilled calamari. I love it and always order it as dish to share... More
