We had read all the rave reviews and Esty Street lived up to its stellar reputation. While we went on Valentine's Day, and there was a special fixed price menu, there were plenty of choices (and I am a bit picky yet still had no trouble.) The food was excellent; my main course of lobster was heavenly! The desserts were... More

This place is truly amazing. I LAUGH at the negative reviews citing pricey menu items... if you want cheap, go to applebees. If you want a perfect experience go to esty street. Words cant describe how awesome this place is.

This being my first visit to Woodcliff Lake, I wanted to try out various restaurants in the area. Having been recommended by fellow colleagues; i decided to give Esty Street a visit. The food was great (though i personally felt the entree was slightly over spiced..), price is slightly on the higher end but i would highly recommend this great... More

Reservation made for a Tuesday evening at 6pm. We arrived to the restaurant with just two tables taken when the waiter sat us at a table for 2 which is very very small. From prior visits we are aware the plates are very large for appetizers and entrees. We asked at that point to be seated at a larger table.... More

Stopped in for dinner with my wife on way home. Restaurant was very nicely decorated and has an old school charm. Little Rascals on TV, Sinatra Music, reminded me of a Brown Derby type of place where you would expect to see Dean Martin sitting in the corner. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. We were not in the mood for... More

My husband and I decided to revisit one of our very favorite restaurants, Esty Street, which was last minute on a very busy Saturday night (not likely right?). To our delight, they graciously fit us in. I must say that this continues to be one of the most intimate, classy restaurants I've been to. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed... More

Every time we visited family in New Jersey we go for a family dinner to the Esty Street, the service is good so the food is, but lately is changing in comparison to previous months, years, the price rises specially in the bar, but the quality of the food doesn't grow at the same rhythm. Sadly on our last visit,... More

The food was very good but the vibe was very snobby. Decor was somewhat dated- more "men's club" than modern dining room.

The food and presentation was outstanding from apps through the main course. I must say that the food was definitely on a par and somewhat above the other well known high end places in Bergen County. So, all good on that score. Put that into a more intimate, quieter setting and I'd then add another star :-) I found the... More
