Amazing waffles

We were in Ocean city, Nj last weekend. Walked past by Augies several times when going to the boardwalk. Finally decided to give it a try after hearing about the waffles. The staff are very helpful when putting together the wait list for seating outside. At present not doing any indoor dining. After waiting fifteen minutes to get seated we were finally able to get a table. Coffee for starters. Staff were busy which is good in business sence.While waiting for waitress to place our orders. Our waitress apologize for the wait and took our orders of 2 waffles one with strawberry and other with blueberries. Which were amazingly delicious. When ready to leave our waitress informed us that we were given a 10 percent off due that we were waiting long for our orders. So nice of them. Definitely would recommend.

So much great value food and service.

My brother Walter and I had breakfast here twice while staying for a week in Ocean City. It was so good that we had to go back for a second time. The waffles, eggs, bacon, ham, and omelettes are all top-notch. The service was friendly and comparatively quick given that the place was fairly crowded. The prices are very reasonable. Knowing my brother, we will be going back many times in the future.

Best Waffles & Omelettes in Ocean City

When we arrived in Ocean City, we were wondering where we might go for breakfast, even though our hotel had a full kitchen and could have cooked our own, but that is not my idea of a vacation. We walked the first night up to the boardwalk, and less than a block away we noticed Augie's. We went there for the next 3 mornings, and they had some of the best breakfast foods at a great price. And the service was great. I had different things each day, but anything on their menu is scrumptious. I believe they will be moving to a new location, but I am sure wherever they are located, you can be sure of getting a great breakfast at a great price.

The food is great and simple seating worked well. But get there early, it gets crowded and you'll wait on the sidewalk outside. My husband got a wonderful omelette and I the early bird egg special with a side of bacon. All really good food and great service in spite of the crowd there. Parking is the only issue, only meters which aren't very close. Well worth it!

Great breakfast

When you step into Augie’s Omelette and Waffle House, you’ll find a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a casual and family-friendly vibe, making it a great spot to start your day with a decent sized meal at a good price. I enjoyed my scrappel and eggs. Even though crowded the service was friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

We enjoyed brunch here on Sat then came back for breakfast on Sun. It was just down the block from our hotel, Watson’s Regency. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and our three year old granddaughter enjoyed her meals too.

Solid breakfast and better than most places on the boardwalk

We come to OCNJ once a year for a couple of nights and have been coming here for a couple of years now when we do visit OC. Breakfast is solid. It isn't far from the motels/hotels we stay in. Isn't far from the boardwalk. We recently stayed at the Coral Sands and is int he same building so we got an extra 10% off. Prices are reasonable for what we are getting. Atmosphere is certainly of that of a mom/pop restaurant/diner vibe. Not super modern, but it checks everything off our list for what we want. Clean place, friendly staff. Decent menu, even though my usual go to is eggs benedict, which they do not have. But their egg specials are great. Good portions, I typically have a decent appetite. Despite finishing everything on my plate, I leave with a full stomach. Taste is good and everything tastes freshly made. Highly recommend this place over some other spots like George's or Bob's on the boardwalk (we have been very disappointed by both of those places). I would rank this place in line with Varsity Inn which is also good. It is also good to see this place has kept up with the times, accepting card, online ordering, and I saw somewhere it mentioned they have an electronic wait listing system in place too.

Friendliest staff EVER!

The Employees seemed like family. Coffee was poured in seconds of arrival. Breakfast was divine. We had the country scramble. We ordered Strawberry Waffles to go for the grumpy teen who did'n't want to join us. Food came out super quick. As we were leaving I forgot to order OJ to go and the waitress brought me one and refused to let me pay for it. I want to work here in the summer. The waffles get a 10/10 from the grumpy teen.

Our family's favorite place for breakfast!!

The food is excellent and the portions are large. My son was visiting from California so we stopped in for breakfast. We both loved it so we came back with the rest of the family last week. My whole family was raving about the breakfast. We had omelettes, waffles, the Mickey hotcake and a breakfast burrito. Anna, Nina and Chris were so friendly and we will definiely be back.

Breakfast was great. Greek omelette combo. Chunky Monkey waffles were so delicious. Home fries tasty too. Friendly service. Bus boy was awesome. My coffee cup never went empty! We will be back.

Best Breakfast hands down!!

Outdoor dining due to COVID when we went, and it was great! Waitress came right out, took our orders. Everything was hot and delicious. I had a breakfast special, 2 eggs done perfectly, homefries, and rye bread. Boyfriend got the country scramble and it came with 2 hot cakes. All perfectly cooked, and all the fixins you needed. Waitress was friendly, overall great experience. Would definitely come back!!

Great Place for Breakfast

What can I say? The place was great, the food was great, and the service was spectacular. My wife and I went there as a substitute for another place that was permanently closed and were not disappointed. The wait was a little long but it was definitely worth it. My wife had pancakes and I had a western omelet. Neither of us have anything to say and we both found a great breakfast place which is only a short distance from the boardwalk and, of course, Shrivers.

Awesome restaurant!

When you go to OC, visit Augie's! Their breakfast is awesome! They give nice-sized portions, and the food is amazing! The service is great! They are open from 7 to 2, for breakfast and lunch. They are closed Wed. and Thurs. at this time of year, September. I don't know the days and hours during a summer stay. This restaurant is a must!

Loved our experience..allowed our support dog to join us after we were rudely rejected at the Varsity.

They were very accounting by letting us bring our dear support dog in for breakfast after we were blatantly rejected by the Varsity down the road..the food was phenomenal and we will take our business here in the future. Also ,the staff was composed and kind during a busy New Years morning...highly recommend this location.
