I ate here for the first time in February 2020 because it was close to my doctor's office and I had wanted to try it since they had been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. At that time, I had begun a weight...management plan and thought that this visit might destroy that. Happily on that first trip I tried a cup of their Butternut Squash soup 🍲 and the best pizza 🍕 I have ever had. I am Italian so I know good pizza 🍕 and have eaten it probably since the womb. Anyway, fast forward over a year later. A place can be judged by it's consistency. And I can honestly say that after today's visit, I still say that they make the best pizza 🍕 that I have ever had. It's a shame that I didn't see the Butternut Squash soup 🍲 that I had last year listed on the specials board until we were leaving. Due to Covid-19, they have you enter one-way and exit another. Normally, I would enter through the door 🚪 closest to where I parked but this is now a one-way exit due to Covid-19. They are following all safety protocols. Our waiter, Joe, was fabulous and funny. My husband had the beet salad 🥗 and I had the specialty pizza 🍕 of the day - giardineria which consisted of roasted red peppers 🌶, mushrooms 🍄, Mozzarella cheese 🧀, artichokes, and red or white sauce. I had my pizza minus the eggplant 🍆 as I don't care for eggplant. I had mine with white sauce. It was also topped with fresh basil. I totally disagree with the reviewer from March 2020 who said stay away as the food is mediocre. I can honestly say that they must be used to chains and places where cardboard pizza 🍕 is served because real Italians know good pizza. And as my husband is a former chef, it is extremely difficult to find restaurants who do things consistently. Carluccio's is one place where you will find consistently delicious food served with a smile 😃. Just now you can't see them smiling 😋 under their masks 😷. My only complaint is that I don't get to go there that often anymore as my doctor's office has now moved and is no longer around the corner from them. I was happy 😊 today to be dropping off my taxes so that I would be in the area as a great excuse to eat there for a date day with my hubby. He really enjoyed it too, especially since he has to watch his salt and we often don't get a chance to visit Italian places together much. Will be looking forward to coming back and making it sooner than over a year.More

I have been in this restaurant many times. It is pleasant experience, every time. Staff members are friendly, food is always fresh and tasty. Enjoyed every dish I ever had there. From soups and appetizers all the way to pizzas and entrees everything is delicious.

I had takeout here with co workers twice during the AC Boat Show week. Coal fired wings were excellent, nice marinade, cooked perfectly. We tried a couple of different personal thin crust pies which were also excellent. Another night was chicken Franchese with pasta; tender...flavorful chicken breasts in a very tasty lemon sauce with fresh pasta. Their Greek salad was a good size for a meal. Fast efficient take out service. I will be back!More

STAY A WAY , way to pricey, and the food is mediocre. And if you have a complaint or want to talk to the Manager he is always too busy or he is just rude. As a local I gave it a couple of tries...but I’m done.More

So good that we went back multiple times during an extended stay in EGT. Smooth running restaurant. A good variety of offerings. Quality ingredients. We tried their specialities and were not disappointed. When was the last time you were in a pizza place and the...staff had ironed crisp looking polo shirts? Here the staff looks sharp and are attentive. Recommend takeout unless you like crowded diner experience.More

We got a couple of pizzas, a pasta dish, and a sandwich. It was a good value as we ate on the pizzas all week. The pasta was fresh and my wife compared it to the pasta we had when visiting Italy. The coal fired...pizza is delicious. Very fresh and a hand tossed crust.More

Always a bit tentative when it comes to South Jersey pizza. Usually mostly hype, but not this time. This place can hold its own with any place in the state. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful food!!! Great service!!! If you are close by you don’t need to miss it. We tried both the pasta and the pizza recommended on Diner’s Drive-In’s & Dives, but I think anything on the menu would be great!

We had calamari, broccoli rabe, with sausage which came with a garlic bread/roll, a prosciutto pizza, and a grandma slice with pepperoni. So good. Really great food and pizza!
