We first came to Piro's in August of 2008 and always make it a MUST stop on our trips to the Candlelight Inn.

Possibly an off night, our service wasn't great and the food was just okay. We had a large party, the place was packed. Several empty dishes and drinks were left on the table, not until I stacked them were they taken, refills had to be requested. The food was just okay, and I struggled to write this review because our... More

Just finished savoring another fantastic meal with the best Italian restaurateur in cape may county! I had a classic veal dish with side of pasta after enjoying a soft sell crab appetizer simple and delicious ! My friend had the spicy calamari with the clams in white sauce. Favorite part was eating it all at the bar. Great meals good... More

Piro's is above average for a fine dining Italian eatery in North Wildwood. The menu is typical traditional fare - including the obligatory ten variations of veal -- with nothing imaginary, but I didn't expect that. I had the veal piccata, which was very tender and not at all disappointing. Service was attentive. The crowd is a mix of Manhattan... More

Visited Piro's for the first time with another couple on a busy Saturday night and it did not disappoint. Made a reservation for 7 and were promptly seated at our table. Our waiter was outstanding (just wish I remembered his name, sorry senior moment), service was efficient, professional and unobtrusive. None of the water glasses were at any time unfilled... More

Very Italian popular restaurant with usual Italian menu but included a few unusual items as well. The food was very good. Enjoyed a bottle of wine as well, and was able to cork it and take the bottle with me. The waitress was experienced and professional. Seemed like a family-run operation. Sufficient parking available on the side too. I would... More

Wasn't overly familiar with the area so we took the advice of a neighboring resident who said Piro's was a hit. Midweek - didn't think to make reservations and walked in to a pretty small place, already busy. We weren't turned away and our party of 10 was seated within minutes and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. Highly recommended if you're... More

A friend in Cape May told me about Piro's so we drove over on Monday for their $10/bottle wine night. The restaurant is VERY UNASSUMING; it a brick corner store, essentially. Inside, the decor is very South Philly. It's also immaculate! For appetizers, we had the Bruschetta and we shared a bowl of crab & spinach chowder. Both were the... More

Every part of the meal was excellent. The service and the quality of the food. The prosciutto was lean in the appy and the Salmon Jack Daniels - cooked perfect. Definite stop whenever vacationing in Wildwood.
