The plain pizza from Pizzaland is some of the best (maybe THE best) pizza I've ever had. The crust is impossibly thin, the tomato sauce is delicious (sweet and tangy) and the pizza has the perfect amount of mozzarella cheese. Pricewise, you cannot go wrong...as this is also the cheapest pizza I've ever had, a large pizza and two sodas: less than $20.
The place has changed owners since the first time I went to Pizzaland and I must say that the new owner, the man behind the counter making the pizzas,is not the nicest guy. From the few times I've been there since he took over I've seen him be rude to the other two guys that work there and so-so with the customers. This is the only reason I am not giving this place five stars.More
I have to admit that I went there as a part of my "Sopranos Tour". It is a small neighborhood place with very limited seating. I took a chance on parking in the lot of the business located next door as it was closed on...Sunday. On a weekday or evening, I wouldnt know where I could have parked. But for $1.25 a slice, it is a good value. Not the best in the world, but satisfied me!!More
We have been getting Pizzaland Pizza for years. The ownership has changed hands but it is close to the original. There are other items on the menu as well. They make a great pizza and deliver too. As most folks know part of the reason...they rose to fame besides the pizza is the opening filming on the Sopranos as they drive by Pizzaland. You can eat in but it is a very small place and parking in the area is horrible. I'm guessing most of their business is takeout/delivery.More
This was a take out order for a family pizza party. If you like thin crust pizza done perfect this is the pizza for you. Enjoyed the pizza for the first time this Saturday night and was really impressed. .Will definitely be back.
After the death of one of the original owners, the place has gone down hill. If you enjoy finger nails and snot in your pizza, eat here. Dollar slices, thin, crispy, everything I love in a pizza. Unfortunately, the quality is just poor.
