I worked on a ship once, and I had the freshest fish dinner of my life. Caught in the early afternoon, filleted on the fantail, and served for dinner. How can you top that? I thought my palate was irreversibly spoiled. Seabras comes close to this impossible standard. Deckhands would appreciate their quality - and economical - fare. Their seafood... More

The food was great. Had raw oysters, fried squid and mussels in a marinara sauce. Sat at the bar since service is usually quicker and better. Not this time. Granted the place was packed, however, their were 5 bartenders working the bar. Had to ask for everything. Even a napkin. Shame since the food was excellent. BEWARE: they only took... More

Lively place, and we liked our waiter. The white sangria was definitely made with SunnyD or something similar - not like any white sangria any of us ever had anywhere else. Also, $30/pitcher for the sangria? The two of our party who had seafood both had stomach problems well into the next day.

The food was delicious, perfectly cooked but the service was horrible. The staff neglected us from begging to end. Worst service in Newark. If you handled being mistreated, ignored in order to eat good Portuguese food go right ahead.

My husband took me for another adventure and this time he surprised me taking me to a Seafood Portuguese Restaurant! This is a typical Portuguese Restaurant where the seafood is delicious! Did you know this restaurant has an open kitchen where you can see the cleanness of the place! The Lobsters are alive and fresh and guest have the choice... More

We had a great and quiet dinner with friends and family. During the week is better because is not that crowded. Weekends are impossible to get inside. Lots of people wait and wait just to eat at this place. Is not fancy, is not trendy, THE FOOD is HEAVEN!! Every single thing we tried, it was delicious! Sea food is... More

Possibly the best tasting seafood places I've ever eaten at. All the food I've tried over the past 3 nights has been amazing, the staff is awesome, and the environment is very inviting. If in the area you must stop by and have the amazing king crab legs. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee.

Two major problems.....the side vegetables are boiled into a watery mush. Soggy, mushy green beans? Really? And the wine list. Pathetic. Barely legible, and half of the wines are unavailable. And the mark up on one low end French white was 4.2X retail. I have trouble paying $42 for 1 $10 bottle of wine. Ended up ordering an expensive white... More

The staff is great, free parking, great cozy family atmosphere-- portions so huge the toddler and gramma can share your plate- The kids fish plate great, tender with whole boiled potatoes and fresh green beans. The adults passed around Dry Soup, stuffed halibut, steamed cockles. Yummy!!!!!
