3rd visit to Seabras which we always visit with our local friends when we visit from Scotland. Seafood up to the usual excellent standard and portions very generous. Sangria was delicious and had quite a kick. Serving staff were attentive . Sat at the bar area which has more atmosphere. Only slight observation was that my steak in the surf... More

There are many better choices in Newark. Our last visit here was rushed and cramped and the food was fair.

All the rice and pasta entrees I had including the paella was extremely bland. The other time I came it was great. Definitely go for the grilled seafood.

went for lunch with family, and we were seated in the back room, long tables with lots of people, so the atmosphere was great. We ordered Octopus, Cod fish and the steak...outrageous amount of food per servince, but all was done to perfection and delicious. Bring your appettite and you won't be disappointed, can't wait to go back again.

To be hones...I was expecting more. 3 of us who grew up Down Neck met for dinner and I've eaten in many of the restaurants in the area. This one...just average. My friend recommended this as his "go to" place. I tasted the other meals at the table...my friend raved about his...I've simply had better in many of the other... More

This restaurant is about an hour from my home however I travel for a great fun meal. I always sit at their huge horseshoe shaped bar because that's where the action is. Much of the shellfish is kept on ice at the bar, and the bartenders prepare many of the dishes. I have never been disappointed with anything ordered, and... More

Had a bottle of Portuguese wine for $30, sells in wine store for $10. The parilhada was nothing more than 2 pieces of broiled fish couldn't tell if it was tilapia... More

Husband and I had been meaning to go to Ironbound district for Portuguese food for a couple years. Seabra's Marisqueira did not disappoint.. Everything was so fresh. I had the dry soup. So packed with flavor and seafood. And the sangria was delish...not too sweet. Already thinking about what to order next visit.
