I was meeting my brother and his wife for an afternoon get together dinner. Saw this on trip advisor and thought we would give it a try. Driving here was a little frightening because the area looks a little rundown . BUT ....OMG this place is absolutely fantastic!!! The restaurant is very small. We began with an order of bruschetta... I love coming here food is always great and they give you enormous portions. You always bring home leftovers here. I took my Nana here for Mother's Day and the food was excellent and service is right on too. I highly recommend this place to eat dinner or lunch.

This family-operated eatery has huge, great Italian dishes at very reasonable prices. Service is sincere and friendly, but occasionally a little confused. Decor is pleasant. Most customers appear to be cops, firefighters, and local insiders. No liquor, but there is a store just steps away.

The translation of Luigi's: “awesome food.”. It's a pretty sure bet that when you go to a restaurant and order something simple, the result will give an accurate indication of what's in store. whether it's a mixed drink or an appetizer, things that should be easy to prepare are often easy to screw up. So, our first visit to Luigi's... More

We went on a Sunday night. How wonderful without the crowds, just great food. The prices are great for the amount of food. Always good food left over to bring home Atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Never a bad meal

The food is amazing and the dessert was fantastic. Local restaurant with great service and warm ambiance is also welcoming. The canolli is the best I've ever had. IT's about 25 minutes from Newark Airport in rush hour. Well worth it. Can't wait to go again!

We didn't like a thing we ordered from appetizers thru dessert even the coffee was bad. So we could not understand why the restaurant was crowded.
