Nice atmosphere. Good service. Sushi was fresh. Only complaint was my food came out way before my friends so she watched me eat and I watched her. Overall a nice stop

I've been to Wasabi many times. I drive past 3 or 4 other Sushi restaurants just to go back to Wasabi again. They have a huge Sushi selection and many kinds of Rolls I've never seen anywhere else. The staff is great, too.

I have been to Wasabi several times. It is consistently wonderful each time. The sushi is always fresh. Special Roles always 50% off. This is a no Alcohol restaurant so you have to bring your own Wine.

We knew we shouldn’t have gotten out of the car when we looked at the place. It was kinda run-down looking. However, it was the third place we hit from Tripadvisor. The first place was closed even though Tripadvisor said it was open. The second place did not even exist. (It must’ve closed and reopened as an urgent care.) We settled for this place because we didn’t feel like looking for another Japanese restaurant nearby. They were VERY slow. We also had to order water three different times. Each time there were strange things floating in it. (Not just one water, but in all of our waters.) we finally gave up and ordered soft drinks in cans to be safe. The food was just ok, but I wondered how fresh the sushi/seafood really was. I did not feel comfortable eating there, but we went against our better judgment and ate there anyway. It was also pricey for what it was. Would definitely NOT recommend eating there or even getting takeout from there.
As a PSA, the light switches are on the outside of the bathroom. I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to try to locate them in the bathroom. I finally found them on the wall outside. Also, I think the same person (doesn’t) cleans the toilets as does the water machine. :P. (The waiter told us in broken English that he just cleaned the water machine yesterday.)

Wasabi is located n a strip mall and parking can be found near the restaurant. There is several seating areas in the place which appears larger once inside. There are many choices of sushi to choose from and other entrée meals for other choices. The service is good. The sushi was served very fresh - probably the best I have had. The overall meal was very good.

Well, so far I've only had the seaweed salad and a SLEW of the Chef's Special Rolls, but I'm totally a FAN! I love that the Chef's Special Rolls are ALWAYS 50% off! I had no idea this place was there, and I'm super glad it was recommended to me after a great winery visit on V-Day. Was just there again last Friday, and fully intend to go back! The only "bad" thing is that the service is a bit slow, but we all agreed - totally worth the wait! Try it!

Yes, it was a Wednesday night, it was snowing, but the sashimi was served too cold. Overall, a nice suburban Japanese restaurant, but not the quality you would get in an urban or foodie location.

Best Fried Rice I've ever had. Food was good, service was solid. Prices were a little high. $87 for 4 people!
And clean that fish tank out front!

My wife and I tried out Wasabi today. It was a spur of the moment thing around 3:45 pm of a no-lunch Saturday afternoon. My wife uses a wheel chair. Five booths in one room, some long family style tables in another room, and several regular tables in a third room. . . UP TWO STEPS. We ended up putting my wife at the end of a booth with me in the booth. It worked – OK.
We are not sushi lovers. We ordered gyoza meat dumplings to split between us. My wife ordered shrimp tempura and I ordered on of my favorites, chicken oyako don (hold the pickles). Oyako don usually is served with Japanese pickles. BYOB, fine, so my wife ordered iced tea. It came in a can and the waitress plumped down one glass with ice and one can of iced tea. Pour it yourself. It happens that my wife is blind but I’m not sure if the waitress noticed this or not.
Salads came – not ordered. My wife cannot use chopsticks. I can, but I have aged past the point of bothering to impress anyone. We asked for forks. They arrived and they were PLASTIC FORKS. Cheap ones, not even of the better variety.
Next arrived the two entrees. We asked for the gyoza. No apology, the waitress just went off to get it. Quite a few minutes later they arrived. They were not gyoza, pan fried meat dumplings, but yasai gyoza, pan-fried vegetable dumplings. We let it go because things were already a bit too surreal.
The food: OK. The tempura seemed to be battered in a mixture of rice flour and possibly panko crumbs resulting in a yellowish, crunchy, slightly grainy texture. Not classic tempura but my wife said it tasted OK. My oyako don was also OK. I guess not
the worst I’ve had but certainly not the best. Just right for that plastic fork though.
Service: A Japanese version of klutzy. The young waitresses seemed pleasant enough, a bit disinterested, but apparently entirely untrained.
Ambiance: Clean, but noticeably a bit faded.
Repeat visit: No.
