I thought this was a nice menu with fair prices. It was a pleasant quiet ambiance as well. Worth a try.

My friend and I really liked Nori. The fish was very fresh and their specialty rolls were delicious. It is a bring your own bottle which we didn’t know but overall a good experience.

My family and I like coming here for sushi when we are in town. My son got a very nice Bento box with shumai, California roll, tempura, rice as well as his entree. They have a large selection of specialty rolls as well. They are BYOB

The sushi here is out of this world! We ordered nearly every vegetarian roll on the menu and each one was better than the next. Nori Jade and the Fried Avocado were probably our favorite. Great sushi!

The sashimi and sushi presentations are always fresh and are as delicious as they are artful.
We have many friends with favorite sushi restaurants closer to their homes in New York and New Jersey, but after being introduced to Nori in Montclair, they proclaim a new # 1.
With helpful staff and a generous menu, including hibachi, tempura & teriyaki Pan-Asian dishes, there's something for your friends who'll never even consider eating sushi. Reservations are recommended as this place can get busy!

My friends and I went to Nori a few weeks ago. The resturant is right in the Ave and is on the corner. On arrival they sat us and we were greeted. The menu is diverse and has a lot options. We all ordered rolls and they were just good. I would not go out of way to go to Nori. I give it a B-

I enjoyed three rolls here over Easter weekend: the butterfly, the special eel and the spicy salmon. The sushi was okay, the service was excellent and the ambience was inviting.

This Nori is owned by the same people that own the Nori in Caldwell. Yet the food is never as good as the original location. I have no idea why this should be, but I've never had as good a meal in Montclair as I've had in Caldwell. It's ok, but stick with the original. The sushi is better, everything seems more fresh and it is much more relaxed and quiet.

Served dirty wine glass, cold soup and entree. Never got the tea ordered empty water glasses remained unfilled. After all this my daughter spit out her sushi, the fish was bad.
Told them all of this after paying the bill. They took the sushi off the bill. They didn't seem to care.
Not the first time we had issues with service just the last time.

I was happy to see a menu with a good number of delicious options. My date and I had a scallop dish and salmon. Both were great. The restaurant is a nice size, especially for its location. The waitstaff were friendly. The food was cooked and seasoned well.

Most of the special rolls include fried or tempura flakes. Not much choice is you don't want this. Lot's of rolls with mango which was great - almost a Thai flavor. Both rolls we had were sweeter than expected. Pork dumplings for our non-sushi eater were great. Our table in the corner by the windows was cramped & I'm going to assume they were having heating problems as it was a mild October evening & the place was uncomfortably warm. Service was pleasant & roll waiter suggested was good

Very good sushi, we liked it a lot. Fresh food and place looked nice. However size of the sushi pieces and rolls is a joke They charge way too much for those mini rolls, been to other places and had rolls almost twice as big for the same price. If you order for a dinner for more than 2 people, make sure you order a couple extra roll because this little amount will not satisfy you. Beside this place is ok.

The sushi is very fresh, great variety and good and fast service. It is a regular for us when we are in the mood for Sushi, even though there are many that are close, we find it worth the trip.

I love this place! Absolutely delicious sushi... the most perfect tuna sushi/sashimi I've ever had. There is also a HUGE selection of specialty rolls. You should definitely try the boat for special occasions. They also serve the sushi really beautifully with flowers and pretty decorations. I've been there on the weekdays where the service was a little slow, but I've never had an issue on the weekend and the high quality sushi makes it worth the wait. BYOB too and there is a liquor store nearby.
