Good quick service and tasty sushi seem to be the strength of this nice establishment. Popular and busy but with efficient flow of work and pleasant atmosphere. It is a BYOB place. We frequent it periodically a now after a longer break it has -perhaps - improved. We had rice-less sushi and Gai Tom Khan delicious coconut based soup. Recommended for casual pleasant everyday dining.

Dined with a party of four. The service was prompt. We had three sushi dishes and beef Teriyaki with vegetables . Everything was tasty. Some entrees come both with soup and salad. There are always interesting specials available.

Finally stopped in for dinner tonight. Had take out a few years ago and had a bad experience, but decided to give it a try. Very nice menu with lots to chose from. My wife liked her chicken pad thai and I my beef pad see yu. The service was not super great. They brought my entree out before my wife's and no one checked back to see how we were until well after we were done. Too bad, since the food was good. Prices are good for what you get.

The taste is way off. Seems like they didn't get the whole recipe and left ingredients out. Panang Curry is usually very flavorful, but theirs is anemic. Third time here thinking maybe it's just what I ordered, but now I am convinced never to come back.

HORRIBLE is an UNDERSTATEMENT! This place used to be great, However we ordered from there today, what a mistake. The service was extremely poor. Slow and rude to say the least. After not receiving all the items in the order, and them over charging me, i was hung up on and told to call tomorrow. Ill be calling the bank to get my money refunded. DO NOT EAT HERE. Waste of money!

It was a pleasant surprise to find this spot in southern New Jersey. Our take-out dinner was tasty and reasonably priced. I requested my curry to have a medium heat level and it was seasoned perfectly.

I took my two granddaughters here for dinner after a show at the Levoy Theater. Overall service was great, we sat in a Tatami Booth, which was a great new experience for the girls. I ordered gyoza for appetizer, which we split, they were good, I ordered shrimp udon, which was great, I ordered the Bento box -meh. All of the tempura pieces tasted as if they'd been fried in old oil and it was an odd americanized combination of vegetables including potato and tomato.

Stopped for lunch at this strip mall spot during a memory lane drive. My eggplant dish was.... yuk! My wife's curry was weak; hardly a carrot to be found, once in a while, a scrap of chicken in a lame, grainy yellow curry. Her dish came with a small bowl of what looked to be dishwater and an iceberg salad with inedible dressing. Hopefully, the restaurant favors Japanese fare, not the phony Thai included in the name. If not for the brown rice to cut the awfulness, I could not have eaten my dish. Don't like to give bad reviews, but Kawa is in deep trouble with their Thai food. Service was just okay.

The sushi was great. Pad thai was less than average. Flavorless, included things that shouldn't be in pad thai. Will never order anything thai off of the menu again. One star because the person at the counter that took the order was too busy texting to pay attention to anything going on around her.

Tom Yum soup was bland and flavorless. Pad kee mow had too much sesame oil and also bland. They didn’t even have Thai chili sauce or hot pepper flakes.

Lunch specials range from $8-$11.50. Bento boxes and 2 or 3 sushi roll lunch and Thai options. Dumpling appetizers good. Tempura batter rather heavy. BYOB. They charge for drink refills.

We've been eating here since it opened, usually 1-2 times a year and it's still one of the best choices in the area. I love that it's not loud and over-crowded like all the local chain restaurants. On a recent Saturday evening, the restaurant was busy but not over-filled and we were immediately seated. The service was attentive and unhurried, and the tuna dim sum appetizer was worthy of five stars. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was casual. I kind of wish they didn't have multiple television screens which cheapen the ambience. On our last visit, A lot of the customers seemed to be on dates and not really notice or care that CNN is playing in the background. Still, it's not noisy at all and you can converse with ease. The serving sizes are generous and the cost of two meals with shared appetizers and desserts was far less that it would have been at one of the local steak joints. I'm really glad we have this dining option in the local area.

I usually love the food here but last time I had lunch the curry wasn't as good as it usually is. I will give it another try next visit.

If you'd like something besides pizza and pasta, try Kawa's Thai and Sushi restaurant. It not the best Thai I;ve ever eaten, but it's available in a cuisine desert.like Vineland, NJ. And it's better for you than fuergters, fries, pizza, and anybody-can-make-it pasta.
