One and Done

If you have a discerning palette, appreciate good service, believe the cost of the meal should equal the quality, then you should skip Russo’s on 33. None of those qualities come close to describing the dinners four of us had on a recent Saturday night. Linguini with clams had 6 littlenecks on... read more

The food here is good. Flavor and portion size are good. Prices are a little higher for the area. The service though was terrible. went with a part of 8, multiple orders wrong, foot cold and rude waiters. Will not be going back!

Highly recommended, for all my family and friends. I know there is a competitor that feels otherwise. I dined there on more than several occasions and each and every time the food was to rave about. Plates were hot and so was the delicious food. The owner offers everything from a wine bar, seafood bar, dessert bar to an outdoor... More

My family has been coming to this restaurant for at least 20 years. We have visited for holidays, family occasions, birthdays, etc. Within the last 5 years something has changed - owners or whatever. The recent remodelling has done wonders for the space but the service and quality of the food has suffered. One night we visited I think we... More

Service was poor, food was terrible! We ordered mussels and fried calamari as appetizers, bad. Everything else was just as bad if not worse.

Our date night dinner at Russos was medium at best. Our thought; 1. Food is average. Jersey people get excited when a new place opens due to the dearth of good restaurants in the state. 2. Ambiance is weak. Too much lighting and layout of place is poor. 3. Two people. Only food. BYOB. $100 including tip. Way overpriced. 4.... More

Name of restaurant is now Russo's. Dined at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. Greeted at hostess stand with a big smile. Seated promptly at 6:30 and our server, Amanda, was simply one of the best servers I have ever had. She was friendly and full of life, but not a chatty Kathy. She knows the menu and when she... I remember going to Luchento's for so many years with my parents and enjoyed the quality food and dining experience,, it was second to none. I dined there about a year ago and didn't have a favorable experience, the food just was not the same.I noticed the name of the place changed so was curious to try it out again... More

I have been to this restaurant before when it was Luchento's. I was intrigued to try it again when I saw it was now Russo's on 33. I was very pleased that the same high quality care in food preparation is still in place. I had the linguine alla Frank Sinatra, which was the chef's special. Mario, the maître d'... More

Loved the entertainment but the new cooks food made my mouth water. They are old school Brooklyn Italian and you won't get a bad plate. They are not expensive when comparing to anyone of that caliber. I took 5 others with me and everyone agrees, Luchentos rules !
