The selection is good. The entrees are fresh and tasty. Soups are also good. The salads are not good. The lettuce didn't seem fresh and the chicken was dry. I have eaten here several times and the salad consistently is disappointing. But the hot entrees are very good.

It's a pretty standard NJ diner. It's good for breakfast food, salads, short-orders, etc. They have their own private parking lot which is a huge plus in Millburn. The serving staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though it wasn't particularly packed. However, our server couldn't have been any friendlier, especially to my kids, which I appreciate. That being said, the... More

Always eat at Millburn Diner when we go to the Paper Mill Playhouse. They have a wide variety of meals to choose from. Their full dinners are a good value. The salads, sandwiches and burgers are very good. Service is fast and the wait staff is attentive.

New Jersey diners are unique to the area. They are usually special places to find good, consistent well prepared food. The menus frequently run on for ten or fifteen pages. Many diners stay open 24/7 and can serve the entire menu at anytime. Most of the diners are local institutions that have been around for many years at the same... More

Staff is friendly, good food for a diner. Don't walk in and ask for lobster (I have seen this demanded by a patron). It's a diner and as far as they go a good one.

Convenience more than anything else is the attraction here. Food is middling at best, nothing really good nor that bad either. If I could , I would give 2 1/2 stars. You'll never walk outta there raving about the place. Unsatisfyingly boring cuisine not very well prepared.

As with most NJ diners, the Millburn Diner has an astounding variety of food from which to choose. Service depends very much on the server, the atmosphere is that of a slightly upscale diner, the food is average at best and the overall value is ok.

Quick dinner before the local AAII meeting at the library. Cod fish was fresh and cooked to correct temperature and then it looked like it had been dropped and rescrambled on the plate. Very polite service.

Moussaka special was served with a Greek salad. There was too much food, had to take half home. The food was good, but too much vinegar on the salad.

It's a decent diner kind of place. But the prices are more restaurant for sure. A wide selection of diner choices entrees and all day breakfast. But certainly there's a little bit of a parking issue the lot is kind of small. Service was decent. Friendly. And the place was pretty clean.
