We re sorry to hear that. Our food always has plenty of sauces as it is customary to our menu. Also we can guarantee you that our food is made to order within 5 minutes of receiving it through doordash. At times however, these driver...More
This was not my first time here but it will probably be my last!! I went a few years ago and remember it being very good. Well things have certainly changed. I took my partner for his birthday and he is now in bed sick...after a night of throwing up! From the start, I knew it wasn't going to be a great experience. The tables are so close together that the servers can't even get through sideways in order to serve food. When the bread came, it was simply just a small loaf of bread. No butter. No oil. Just bread. And no bruschetta. When the salads came, we were not offered fresh pepper although I did see other tables being offered it. The waitress was not very pleasant and was more just a robot. She didn't make us feel comfortable at all. The food was ok but apparently the seafood must have been bad. I will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon!More
Osso Buco was one of the specials, so that's what I ordered. We also shared the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Their dinner rolls are outrageously delicious ! The service was very pleasant. We dined outdoors on their patio, on a lovely summer evening. The fact that...its a BYOB is an added plus ! I cannot comment on the price because I was treated to dinner here. All in all, I would definitely return for a 2nd meal . . .More
We were seated at a table that was so close to all the other tables. There was no COVID-19 restrictions in place at all. Our silverware came wrapped in a linen napkin and when we unwraped them all four of us had dirty forks. We...told the waitress and she brought us new ones and in our pile there were still two dirty forks. Instead of bringing a basket with four rolls so no one had to touch the other persons bread, we got an uncut loaf of bread. Which meant someone had to pick it up and break it. We just gave the bread to one of the people in our party since she had already touched it and the rest of us got no bread. The waitress kept saying that she was so hot and sweaty and asked if we were hot. We told her we were not. After we got our entrées the waitress came back with another waitress saying I am going to the doctor and she will take my place.no idea if she had anything she could be passing to customers! We were seated up against the wall that was so dirty and greasy it look like it hadn’t been washed in years. I ordered a dish specifically that had no tomato or tomato-base to it on the menu and when it came it was tomato-based. a very bad experience for one of the first times I have been out since Covid started a year and a half ago. Will never go backMore
I was in Medford on business today so tonight I stopped in this restaurant for dinner based on prior Tripadvisor reviews. The chocolate cake was served for desert with a hair cooked right into it (a long red hair-I am a male with very short...dark hair so it could not have been mine). The hair was discovered after the piece of cake it was in was already half eaten which made the situation even worse. Someone who worked at the restaurant was sitting at the next table when it was discovered. It was immediately brought to his attention while it was still on the fork. Because he was sitting there doing paperwork, not eating, knew the waiters/waitresses by name and was periodically given then orders I believe him to be a manager or at least someone in charge. His response was not an apology but instead was "We don't make the cakes here". This was his only response. The point is who is selling the cake and serving it to the public not who made it. His matter of fact response gave me every indication that this (someone finding a hair in their food while eating in this restaurant) was not a rare event and not all that out of the ordinary for them. To their credit they did take the half eaten piece of cake served with the hair in it off the bill. I will not return to this restaurant and can't see any way I could recommend it to others.More
This restaurant does not adhere to COVID-19 guidelines. Tables are not spread out nor taped off, and no effort is made to distance people. I had to ask others to move so that I could protect my own safety, and somehow that made me the...jerk- not the managers who put me (and others) in that position. Additionally, a woman who walked in mask-less was not even questioned. Uncomfortable situations can be avoided if management follows the rules and spreads people out properly. News flash, covid is very present in our town. A shame, because my waitress was very nice and the food was excellent. I will just have to take out next time, and I suggest the same to those who care about their safety.More
went in again yesterday and amazed here- at how positive the reviews are. guess most Americans cant taste the difference between good and bad- here goes........ came in at 3pm and was told we couldnt order lunch, only dinner. OK soda was flat-(waiter, hint, taste...what you are serving, was bad. we were offered refills 3x..... we didnt even finish the glass we had. yes it was bad). salad, had to remove the wilted pieces........... ordered chicken parm- how can you go wrong? it was alright and a good sized portion. for 30. for two, again not a bad price, but the food really is subpar. final note- why is it every time I order angel hair or spaghetti, I always end up getting cappolini? If all you are going to serve is cappolini, dont bother asking me my preference. Tarentellas does the same........... I would go 2 1/2 stars, but since everyone thinks this place is the bomb, guess it is.More
The family loves coming here. The food is excellent and the service and atmosphere is terrific. The potions are also amazing as you will have plenty of left overs.
Highly recommended! We’ve been here several times, and the food quality, portion sizes, and service is always great. The garlic knots that are brought to your table after being seated are the best.
This was our first experience at this restaurant. This was a rare time we went without a reservation as they said when I tried to make one that " we have pretty fair turn over." We got there and no parking space in their lot....Luckily the store across the street had a wide open lot. We went in, gave our names and told about a 30 minute wait. They do turn the tables rapidly but it was still 45 minutes before we were seated. The hostess, Isabella, the owner's wife, was taking names, getting people seated, chatting friendly with people and helping to bus tables. We were seated, asked about drinks, water and warm bread came without asking. Out waitress asked if there were any questions on the menu and took our order. My companions soup and my salad came out rapidly; soup was hot, salad chilled and crisp. The entrees came out not much later. In fact , her entree came out before she finished her lobster bisque so I got o taste it. It was great except my companion had eaten all the lobster. She had calamari and I a dish of chicken, egg plant and prosciutto with a side of angel hair pasta in a brown gravy. With the exception of to much gravy, it was excellent as was her calamari. Portions are large so food was packaged to take home for another meal. We have learned that left over calamari is best prepared at home in a hot fry pan with either a light coating of olive oil or one of the spray cooking products. Prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality. To full for desert or coffee. Isabella became very fixated on my companion with thanks for waiting and helping with her jacket at the door. We will be back but avoid Sat night in the future. Our waitress was Rachael and she was fantastic and appeared to like her job, her interaction with surrounding tables including one near us with 10 or 12 people including little kids. More than just pizza.More
Have yet to have a bad meal here. The portions are huge and the food is always so tasty. Great Italian food with the grill to add! BYOB!! And the service is always spot on!
A little pricey compared to other Italian restaurants in the area, but you get huge portions. Don't order the Shrimp fra diavalo but everything else is great. Love the staff here
I like everything about this place. The food is delicious all the way to the salad dressing on top of that no matter how hungry I am at meal time I have enough for the next days lunch. The staff always appears genuinely pleased you...are there.More
You won’t leave hungry. Variety of Italian options. Good appetizers that are family size. You can easily share and taste a large selection and take home food for later.
Came here to celebrate a birthday , with about 20 family members. Good menu, good taste, huge portions. A bit cramped for space but was ok , lots of people, full house for sure
