We recently had our wedding and dinner party at the Inn. We were very pleased with dinner , service and the attention to detail. Larry, the Inn's owner made our day special. The only thing better was the food, especially the crab cakes.

We needed to host a party for about seventy people in the Mays Landing area. The Inn at Sugar Hill fit the bill perfectly. On our initial visit, we were given several choices of menus at different price points. We made our selections for food and drink options, and five days later, 70+ people showed up for a wonderful party.... More

We are repeat customers, coming here two or three time a year and eating dinner and then sometimes staying overnight. We have always enjoyed it. This past weekend we checked in and our room was beautiful and clean, Our drinks at the beautiful bar were great but we were very disappointed with the meal. The bread basket usually includes artisan... More

It is a very cute place with a nice location on water. The few times we ate there we never were seated outdoors which is weather dependent. The interiors are nice, a few smaller rooms with tables,Victorian in general style. You can book a room upstairs and stay overnight but we never did that.It apparently functions also as Bed and Breakfast.... This is a lovely historic inn and restaurant with a view of the water. The food is mediocre, but lovely dining room, porch with water views and outside casual eating area.

Had my birthday dinner this year at the Inn at Sugar Hill. Will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. We had the Clams Casino appetizer which was very good (I don't eat clams) followed by the Emerald Scallops which were cooked to perfection in a not too creamy sauce on a bed of sauteed spinach.... We arrived to this delightful little restaurant at 6pm on Wednesday evening and opted for porch seating which overlooked the river, and the gazebo! Lucky for us we were just in time for a fantastic sunset over the river! By nightfall the gazebo was lit up beautifully; we enjoyed that very much as well. We were seated by the sweetest... More

Description
The Courier Post recently honored the Inn with three & a half stars boasting, “Owner/chef Larry Boylan has put a kitchen full of thought into his waterside Inn at Sugar Hill.” That “thought” process has been ongoing for Boylan & his Inn for 22 years now, with no signs of letting up. “ I believe a good dining experience has the ability to not only nourish the body, but also nourish a persons’ soul… to be able to reach out & touch someone on that level is a high that gives me a lot of satisfaction & motivates me”, states Boylan. As an authentic Country Inn, the Inn at Sugar Hill has always strives to provide old world hospitality to both its’ dining & bed & breakfast guests. This philosophy has led to creating menus that reflect not only current culinary trends, but also respect the palates of those less adventurous. “Before I print a new menu I always look it over & say… what are my parents going to order & then… what are my teenage daughters going to like!
