Absolutely Delicious!!

My family and I ate a Cafe Venezia last night and had a terrific meal cooked to perfection with seasoning that put each meal over the top. We had penne vodka, clams, string bean salad, tortellini bolognese and plenty more and each one was superbly done! Service was also fantastic. In addition, if you are concerned about going out to eat due to safely, you won't be dissapointed at Cafe Venezia. They have attractive divider walls up between tables and several air purifying units around the restaurant. You will feel very safe eating at this wonderful gem of a restaurant. Let's support our restaurants during this time especially those that go to great lenghts to make us feel so comfortable and safe!!

Fine Italian Fare

Nice family-run Italian BYOB restaurant serving delicious food. I enjoyed a Chicken Venezia and my fellow diners said they enjoyed their food as well. It's nicely decorated, the food is delicious, and the owner is a hands-on manager with a sincere interest in his patrons. That said, their pricing is on the high side and everything is ala-carte, making it more expensive and less likely I'll frequent here often except for special occasions. I hope they survive in this tough market and also hope they consider some small changes, like including a salad with full dinner entrees. I recommend this restaurant.

Just the taste of Italy I needed!

My new brother-in-law had this place host his rehearsal dinner. Best. Decision. Ever! The food made me think of the meals my grandparents cooked when I was younger. You know, the meals all their children and grandkids keep trying to replicate but never could? That was this food. Just... delizioso! The staff was friendly, attentive, and felt like family. Like it says in the title, this was just the taste of home I needed after moving to the Midwest. I will definitely eat here again when I'm back in the area.

AMAZING FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE

I went with my wife and family members to Cafe Venezia for our 25th anniversary after watching on TV a show about this restaurant on one of the food channel networks. From the minute we stepped into the restaurant, we felt how cozy and comfortable this restaurant was. The place was very clean. The appetizers, salads, meats, seafood and desserts were amazing, especially seafood, it was fresh and tasty, my wife ordered the steak which was perfectly cooked. The Staff and restaurant owner were more than great and made us feel very welcome. I told my neighbors about our great experience with Cafe Venezia and they went last weekend and had a great time. I will definitely go again and again.

Excellent dining experience 😋💕

We've been meaning to try Cafe Venicia for a while. We finally did last night and we were very very happy we did. Our appetizers were Pasta Fagioli, Insalata Feta and the Carpaccio all three were so delicious. Then Leo our server put us on a spot with his amazing choices on the list of specials. As he was clearly describing in detail the items we were reading and pondering and successfully answering all our questions we finally came up with our decision and choices. So we took him up on his suggestions. My wife and I had the same thing which was a delicious perfectly prepared Lamb Shank Osso Buco over an amazing Risotto😋 our friends had the delicious Filet Mignon Ravioli 😋 and the equally delicious Chefs Pollo Special😋. Everything we had was so delicious and loaded with outstanding flavors. We finished with a very nice Cappuccino an excellent Strawberry Zabaglione and a decadent Conolli. Wow Thank you Leo and to your top notch staff for our wonderful dining experience at Cafe Venicia. We will definitely be back. Personal note: Excellent cuisine, great service and very friendly staff, BYOB

One of the best mussel appetizers I have ever had

The mussels in [not very] spicy tomato broth were delicious. Good sized mussels - not too big, not too small. A great starter to share [accompanied by a significant amount of bread for dipping]. Main of lamb ragu [a special] over al dente pappardelle was also delicious, as was the chicken with sweet sausage and peppers. Service impeckable.

Fantastic Italian Restaurant

Great Italian restaurant, which is also a BYOB. Friendly staff with a nice extensive menu - appetizers, salads, pastas, meats, seafood and desserts. Nicely decorated with soft Italian music playing, busy but you can still carry on your own conversation. We started our meal with warm crusty bread and butter, followed by the calamari appetizer served with chopped tomatoes in a crispy taco shell. Then we had the veal entree which was to die for. Will definitely return.

Best Italian food in the area!!

Excellent food that is only surpassed by the great service. My dinner tonight was Blue Point oysters topped with smoked salmon and pickled onions for an appetizer followed by Striped Bass that was pan seared, topped with shrimp, capers, cherry peppers, fresh tomatoes, herbs in a lemon white wine sauce.

The chef is very experienced and the food is always great but after waiting endlessly and enduring the terrible service, the food isn't the main focus and the entire experience suffers.

Totally Disagree with Cruiser

We have been the Cafe Venezia several times and the food is always absolutely delicious!! The service is excellent as well and the staff is courteous - you never leave this place without a great feeling of having a wonderful night out! One of my favorite salads here is the green bean salad, its so different from anything you will have anywhere else. All the fish dishes have been very good as well as the pasta dishes.

Love this place and love the service

WOW!!! Can’t say enough great things about this local byob. Staff is outstanding. Owner went out of his way to make my husbands stuffed long hots. My husband had called a few days ago in hopes it would be on the menu. The owner assured him he would have them for him.. and he did. Top notch service at this place with top notch food to match. Great specials, great carpaccio, linguini and clams, out of this world veal parm, and of course the Brazino was amazing. Don’t miss this spot. They have it down here and know how to treat their guests.. like family.
