To begin with, I am torn between a 3 and 4 rating. The positives: Server was very attentive. GM stopped by our table to see if everything was ok. We were seared within 15 minutes of our reservation time. Negatives - food was average....prices are high. Ambience is ok. Basically this is a local spot that tourists happen to stop... More

I have been dining at the Tuckahoe Inn since the late 70's and it is always a great experience. Old time inn located on the water.Very nice large patio on the water & there is boat accessibility. Food is always good and reliable . Seafood and steaks are always top items. Bar is very nice with a water view and... More

Visited twice during our vacation. Like the family vibe and local bar. Outside seating wasn't open yet...fun when the band gets started! Food is good and servings is great. Good menu choices with something for everyone!

We have been riding past the Tuckahoe Inn for years. Last night we were invited with friends to go there and it was a treat. The martini was a good starter. The brushetta was a great appetizer. The Rib and Crab special was delicious. The view of the sunset on the back porch added to the evening. Let me not... More

The Tuckahoe Inn, situated on the shore of the Great Egg Harbor Bay, has been in business for over 50 years and the menu hasn't changed a whole lot over all that time. And, frankly, that's why I like it. Not that this area of New Jersey is known for trendy haute-cuisine, but it's still refreshing and comforting to go... More

My husband and I made a reservation and ate at Tuckahoe Inn yesterday evening. Given that it was July 3 and the height of tourist season here at the Jersey shore, it was very crowded. We had to wait at the bar for a while before being seated and had to remind them several times that we were waiting for... More

Had my Wedding Dinner there 37 years ago. Food has been consistently good. Service is decent for the seashore; and has been a staple for my family for a long time.

This restaurant has a long history which was at its peek before the old route 9 bridge closed. The interior id largely rows of rectangular tables, some of which put dinners esentially sirring in the doorway. Ifound this unacceptable at this price point. Now to the food. The clam chowder was a melange mostly new england with sone manhattan vegtables.... More

I have not been to this restaurant in years but plan to go back! You can enjoy 2 outside bars, order appetizers, bar food outside or go into the restaurant and order delicious seafood and steaks! I had Chef's special: crab cakes, they were ALL crab no fillers and wonderful. Their tomato-basil soup was great too. Reservations recommended for eating... More
