They must be watering down the drinks bc we had 3 martinis and felt nothing! Usually after one you can’t have another- we thought it was a fluke but talked to other people and they said the same thing! Food is overpriced and nothing special-...but shame on them for charging $17 for a martini of juice😡More

I was able to get a reservation through a regular because the fact is if your not a regular you wont get a reservation especially with the silly 2 week policy. As for the hype i was suprised. Steak was chewy i spit half into...my napkin salmon undercooked and srinks were mostly juice or watered down. Glad i tried so I could put a place to rest for good. Better choices: Sophias, Tomatoes, saltwater or Crab Trap in OC Good luck.More

The service, the wine selections, the bread and beet salad were absolutely excellent. I selected the special seafood pan roast. Both the shrimp and the lobster were overcooked and cold. Because I was with friends I didn't send it back or complain. My wife doesn't...appreciate me when I don't have filters. We were looking forward to this visit because last year I couldn't say enough. Maybe next year will be better.More

OMG. Our first time here. We sat at the bar for a drink before going to the table for dinner. The bartender Brian made us two killer manhattans!! And he was so fun to be around—-and we were so comfortable—we decided to eat at the...bar. The wedge salad was very good. The crab imperial was AMAZING. The stuffed pork chop was to die for. I don’t even eat pork chops but when my boyfriend gave me a taste I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. Brian told us they make it like no other restaurant—-and we totally believe that now. A perfect evening. A perfect meal. Can’t wait to go back!More

We have been going to Steve and Cookies whenever we were in the area. Always enjoyed our visits. We took two other couples there for dinner. Immediately after being seated we were bitten by flies. The couple at the next table said the flies are...awful. While we waited for someone to take our drink order all six of us were swatting flies off our head, neck and arms. When the waitress came to our table we asked about the flies. Her comment was yeah they are pretty bad this time of year. A restaurant of the caliber of Steve and Cookies certainly should pay attention to this kind of problem. Call an exterminator, bomb the place at closing but don’t say yeah they are pretty bad this time of year. We spent the entire evening swatting flies while trying to eat. The food is really good but not when deluged by flies. The six of us decided due to the cavalier attitude we will not return!More

There are reasons why this restaurant is so hard to get into without a reservation: it’s that good. From the service to the food, both quality and attention to detail shine. Recently I had their “ugly tomato” salad, which was outstanding. We’ve had many great...meals here - it’s a wonderful place to create family memories.More

Don’t take your date here in the summer - it’s perfect for family outings, but it’s quite loud (although it is a happy boisterous loud) which takes away from any potential romantic atmosphere it otherwise would have. Oysters were superb! Fresh and delicious! I’m sorry...I only ordered 6. My date had the lobster mac and cheese and it was FABULOUS! Delicious! Entrees left a bit to be desired - cioppino broth was overcooked and very salty/bitter. It is difficult to accept that a summer cioppino is only made with scallops, shrimp and one clam. Lobster tail entree was also a bit bitter, although the crab imperial addition was good. Blueberry pie was excellent! Not a bad meal overall, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here as much as people have recently. Not worth the hype/wait.More

The food and drinks here are absolutely delicious! I had the shaved Brussels salad as an appetizer. It was light and tasty. I had the cauliflower steak made without butter for my entree. Wow! I never knew cauliflower could be so good! It was mixed...with mushrooms and greens that complimented it perfectly! The only downside was that it was a bit pricey at $27. The drink menu is very good. I had something with grapefruit vodka which was delicious and packed a punch. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice. It has a parking lot which is always a plus down the shore. Definitely make a reservation or you won’t get in. I will definitely go back, but because of the prices, it won’t be right away.More

The oysters as well as the rest of our meal was memorable in a good sense. I had the seafood cold plate. Each item, shrimp, lobster, and crab cake was cooked to my liking and as everyone knows I'm very picky. The service was good...and people started coming in a opening time.More

No written dress code, wear what feels comfortable to you as long as you remember that the restaurant is not on the beach, just near by. You are going out to dinner at an upscale restaurant. Dress the part.
