Good evening, tonight my son and I celebrated his return from college and decided to eat at your restaurant. I want you to know that our server Jacob H was beyond phenomenal. Not only was he personable. He gave the best service I have ever...had and I have been to many restaurants in over half a dozen countries. He deserves to thanked for his hard work and making our special night absolutely amazing.More

When I opened the door of this Melting Pot location, I was overcome by the overpowering smell of a dirty mop. This place STUNK! It’s time to spend a couple of bucks for a new mop head and change the mop water. After a brief...(and pleasant) chat with the hostess, “Chris, the manager” arrived at the hostess stand and started hollering at me…and I still can’t figure out why! I could not believe what was happening. She was the nastiest person I have encountered in long time! I don’t know if she had a fight at home with her partner before coming to work or maybe she ate some bad cheese in the fondue, but this gal was mean as a snake…to the point of being scary! “Crusty Chris” is certainly not the type of person you want greeting customers as they enter your place of business. With her personality and demeanor she was best suited for self-quarantining! Our server, Josh, was the highlight of the evening! He was knowledgeable, professional and polite (Chris should take a lesson from this guy). Nothing was ever a problem, a pro in every way. Always attentive and explained the process of ordering very well. The portions are small and it is grossly overpriced. I was not comfortable how my raw shrimp was in the same pot of boiling broth as my dinner companions raw pork and raw chicken. That does not seem smart, sanitary or healthy. It’s a “One and Done” for me and the Melting Pot. There are too many quality dining options available to get caught up in this gimmick. I say Fondon't!More

My husband and I decided last minute to celebrate my birthday at the.melting pot. We were lucky enough to get reservations same day. Cooper was our waiter and we couldn't have had a better experience. He was friendly from the very beginning.

Went here for dinner. It started out ok as we were seated quickly. Our water took our drink ordered and that's when it started to go downhill. He disappeared for 15 minutes before coming back and having to re-confirm what we ordered. It was another...10 minutes before we got the drinks. We then ordered our food. The cheese fondue came out quickly as did the salad, but then we waiting another 30 minutes before the entre came out. Note this is raw food that you cook yourself so not sure what took so long. Anyway during our meal the waiter never came back to check on us. And when done we waited yet another 30 minutes before flagging down another waitress and asking her to find our waiter. It took another 15 minutes before he showed up. At this point we declined dessert and just asked for the check. Yet another 15 minutes went by before he came back with the check. So basically it took more than an hour to get a check. This is not a place I can recommend or would go back to based on this experience. Which is a shame because the food wasn't bad.More

Went there for my twin granddaughters 18th birthday. 20 people. Arrived at opening time. We were seated within 10minutes. Service was exceptional, as was the food. 20 people and no complaints. This was my first fondue experience. Will do again. Thank you, Melting Pot staff.

Started with the restaurant not able to find our reservation, although I showed confirmation. Manager wiped off a table right near front entrance and seated us, when we went to sit down, chairs had food on them and the floor was covered in dropped food,...glasses, etc, absolutely disgusting. We said something again and they re-cleaned the area. We sat for 15 minutes before a server came to us, we also had no menus, and asked twice where our server was. My wife asked for the manager who proceeded to say it was her (Kristin) and that she would be with us in a moment, however she never came over to speak to us. Not once through the entire meal did she acknowledge us or ask us how things were, especially after the fiasco in the beginning. Our server Lauren was very cheerful and personable, so that helped to make up for the beginning of the experience. Food was excellent. Although the waitress was good, everything took so long to get. I recognize that the Melting Pot meals are usually up to 2 hours, but we were in that restaurant for a total of 4 hours-completely unacceptable. I did complain upon leaving and they gave me a $15 certificate to come back to the same restaurant. Manager definitely did not seem to care about her customers, and not to mention the entire restaurant was filthy, food on floor wherever you walked, bathroom was a mess, paper towels all over the floor...won't be returning...and all this was for my wife's birthday dinner, couldn't have been less special :(More

It is a nice place, variety of settings for the tables - booths, cozy corners, open space etc. The menu can be somewhat confusing if you are not accustomed to fondue style. It was my intimate birthday celebration. The service was chaotic but it was...our servers third day only and she was still learning. The price for our dinner for two - with chocolate dessert- was slightly over $100 with the tip - $120. My husband ordered gin and tonic but another drink looking like spiced ice tea was brought. They took it away and made the correction. I wanted a mojito. Unfortunately their mojito tasted like a cheap sugar candy, sweet beyond description. I just did not drink it other then one sip. Of course rightfully I was charged for the drink I did not drink. The worst mojito ever! It was my birthday celebration and I wanted a celebratory drink but I really could not deal with such misconception on what a mojito should taste like... The fondue was fun, dipping your skewers with bread in cheese, the entire ritual. The pieces of meat and shrimp that followed were just of average appearance and quality at best. If you have just a few pieces to eat would be great to enjoy superb quality. Overall beef was the best. The salad was average as well. The dessert we chose was dark chocolate fondue. The uneven cuts of slightly outdated bananas and unfresh strawberries, dried waffles (!), stale cake squares would be unacceptable without the chocolate dip. It was what it was, we were not impressed. We really wanted to like it. Not likely to be back in spite of our love for fondue. Alcohol-wise they offer some wines, cocktails (do NOT get a mojito), no beer choices.More

My husband and I went here on a date night, and you could tell that the restaurant was slammed. Our table was not ready yet, so we had a drink at the bar and waited maybe 20 mins for our table. Our server, Paige, was...absolutely phenomenal! She was extremely busy, but we felt like we were her only table. She took such good care of us, and made our date night even more wonderful with her attention to detail and her friendly and outgoing personality. The food was delicious, but I will never forget how special Paige made us feel!More

So, myself, husband and almost 16 year old daughter went here tonight to celebrate my daughters upcoming sweet 16. We are no rookie to fondue as we eat here often, but always in the bar area. Knowing fondue can be a drawn out process, we...usually pack our patience but tonight was just completely absurd! My husband met us there and arrived about 5 minutes prior to our reservation. He was told to let the hostess know when we arrived and we would be seated. We walked to the hostess stand right at 6:30 (reservation time) and were told by the hostess she had to wait on her manager. Ok, what? And why? So, after waiting 10 minutes past our reservation time and watching a family leave due to not being waited on, I knew there was trouble ahead. I walked back in the bar, knowing if we sat at a high top at the bar, we would definitely be waited on. I ran into what I assumed was the manager why doing this and asked if we could take the high top over our reservation since I knew we would be waited on. Her response, “I was coming to seat you now.” Ok! Then let’s get on with it. So, we sit and wait, and wait, and wait AND then finally a waitress! She was apologetic and took our drink order. Knowing what a process this already was and knowing what we were in for, I made my family order their cheese with the drinks. So, now the wait begins! I kid you not, our cheese came before our drinks including water and that was at 7:20! Completely uncalled for! Almost a hour after our reservation! In the meantime waiting on our fondue we were told that their manager would come do our cheese bc our waitress was slammed. Guess what? No manager! So, finally here comes our waitress with the cheese. Long, long, long story short, this was a 3 hour dinner! Totally BS! This is a horrible managed location, where no one helps anyone! Yes, it would of made complete sense for the manager to come assist the slammed waitress, but nah that would be too easy! And why did our waitress have tables scattered all around the restaurant? Why was she running from one place, to another and back to the other? Why did we see the waitress who had the tables behind and in front us more then our own? So weird and so poorly managed! If I ever go back, it will be bar only and before 6pm!More
