We had a wonderful dinner at Antonio's Trattoria, our first time there. We were 8 for dinner and were seated early, and had fantastic service and food. Our waitress and bus boy were extremely attentive and the owner and manager each made a point of...stopping by our table several times to ensure everything was going well. We will definitely be going back again.More

First time dining here after my girlfriend recommended this place (as she regularly comes here with her niece and nephew). We were certain to arrive as early as possible last Saturday with reservations which was a good thing. This place gets packed very quickly. It's...obvious to see that it's very popular. Let me start with the negative: service could have been better. We were seated and had our dinner order taken. In the meantime, we watched two tables who arrived after us seated, had their order taken, received their food, and leave by the time we finally got our dinner. Not sure why our table's service was so much slower with the same waiter. However, that inconvenience did not spoil our evening as we certainly were not in a hurry. One of the waitresses came over and offered us another round of bread which we greatly appreciated. Let me say that the bread here (which comes with every meal) is fantastic. It comes out seasoned and warm. We were ecstatic that we were offered another serving of it. I ordered the Polo Francese over linguini. My girlfriend had spaghetti and meatballs. Each dish came with a salad which I thought was great. My chicken was superb. I tried some of my girlfriend's meatballs and they were just tremendous. You get a really nice portion and I am quite thankful that in times of restaurants cutting back due to rising costs one still gets a full plate of food. We also enjoyed cheesecake and chocolate mousse for dessert which was quite excellent and not overly expensive. Two meals, two desserts, and two diet cokes came to about $62 which is not bad. And, a reminder, you get bread and salad with a very ample-portioned meal. When we walked out at around 6:30 pm the lot was full and people were waiting in a line outside the door to get in. In all, outside of a very odd slow service issue, we thought dinner here was fantastic. I told my girlfriend we needed to come back here again which is exactly what I intend to do.More

Recently went for dinner and had the meatballs and posta. It has a very classic taste like my grandmother used to make. Our waitress Ashley T., was very helpful on choices and her service was very professional. When we go again, I do hope to...get her as our waitress again.More

Ordered a tray of chicken parmigiana on Christmas eve to have with a family Christmas celebration Christmas Day. Upon opening tray there was not a piece of mozzarella to be found & the chicken was very tough. I called & spoke to a manager &...explained the situation & his reply was "let the waitress know next time you come in and MAYBE she will give you a free dessert". I have been there a few times but I will not be back considering their policy on customer serviceMore

Started off not too great when we were told we had to wait”a few minutes “ (turned into 10!) for our table, with a 5:00 PM reservation and tons of empty tables. BUT, once we were seated, caio Bella! Started with the gF meatballs, how...nice to see them in a menu! We had veal Milanese (enormous!) And the gf Veal saltimbocca. Both excellent, and very large portions. What a nice surprise to get a complimentary house salad included. Delicious food, maybe a hectic atmosphere, but servers were right on the top of everything once we were seated. And maybe why…….there were two large private parties going on as well. Loved the old style of who we guess is the owner, Tony, visiting our table, and Giuseppe as well. Personal touches are appreciated these days & how nice that they care enough to work the room, even in Covid! As a gf person, I appreciated the options of freely ordering the veal dishes made to gf specifications. As Tony said, he makes gf croutons. How absolutely AMAZING would it be to have a tiny piece of gf bread offered to the table along with the delicious regular bread, once they know a gf person is there. Just would be a dream come true to match the level of personalization and quality of rest of our meal!More

Antonio's provided top-notch service for my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner last Friday night. Everything was excellent... from the ease of booking, to the helpful advice while arranging the dinner, to the attentive servers all through the evening, to the absolutely delicious food! Anytime I...had a question, they responded immediately. Also, when I started to run out of wine just before dinner, they saved the day by arranging immediately delivery from a nearby liquor store. I received many compliments on the food and service from our guests. I could tell that the owner and staff really cared that the event would be a success from beginning to end. Before planning the event, I also had the opportunity to eat dinner at the restaurant on two occasions and everything that I have eaten there was wonderful. I would highly recommend Antonio's to anyone having an event or simply having dinner.More

I planned a Surprise Nursing Graduation Party for my daughter here. We had over 50 people attend. From the first day we booked the event to that evening they were extremely professional and answered each and everyone of our questions we had. That day they...were able to help us keep my daughter completely surprised while making sure the room was set the way I had requested in advance. The two servers we were assigned did an excellent job the whole evening. They were professional and made sure all our guests needs were met. The food was excellent. Our guests were impressed that evening and have even mentioned it to us after the party. We are so happy that we chose to hold our event here and would recommend it to others in the future.More

Was there recently over July 4th holiday.... Once we were inside, it was approximately 2/3 filled. Waitress was very nice, took our orders quickly and the proceeded to tell us that they were short-staffed that evening. We waited 1 hour for our salads and appetizer...to arrive. Also of note, we had 2 children under 10 years old; figure out how that went. In summary, the food was pretty good.... was it worth the long wait?? No way!! Go to Lubrano"s or Squan Tavern instead.More

First time back here since the pandemic , The chef has not lost his touch . He comes up with some very innovative meals for specials . I had the "Chicken Veronica " with vegetables , absolutely delicious . Who would think to put a...creamy mushroom sauce over chicken with mozzarella and top it with avocados ? It works ! We also had grilled baby artichokes as an appetizer . Plenty for 2 and really good . My wife had the veal parm with penne . Great pasta in a great tomato sauce . Cappucinos for dessert were delicious . with a little biscotti and sugar stick on the side . Excellent service too .More

An early dinner disaster: a waiter asking every two minutes if we were ready to order; entrees brought out minutes after the pre-made house salads were served...AND WORST OF ALL...EVERY TABLE FILLED BY 7PM...no 50% occupancy here! Couldn’t wait to leave and never go there...again. BTW, the rack of lamb were grilled chops (might be good for a burger but not a “rack of lamb”.)More

NJ monthly magazine claimed Antonio's had good gluten free pizza. They lied. This was our first rime trying Antonios. $18 for a personal size. Way overpriced but we tried it anyway along with A large plain and cheesy garlic bread because they didn't have garlic...knots. . The gluten free was disappointing. Sabatasso frozen is still better at a third of the price. The garlic bread was disgusting . We took a few bites and threw it in the garbage. The Plain pizza was OK. I noticed their aren't many pizza reviews. maybe the entrées are better. I'm sticking with Esposito's for pizza and knots.More

Well if we didn't love them already!! Antonio's gave us yet another reason to want to keep coming back - their impeccable customer service. My family has dined at Antonio's for years now, from the-off-kitchen-duty week night to birthdays to all the celebrations in between....Last night was my parents 29th year anniversary, and in true COVID-19 style, we ordered take-out anniversary dinner. One way or another, there was some miscommunication that led to an incorrect entree. I called just to see if it was my error, when I placed the order. The gal on the phone didn't even skip a beat, correcting the order and sending us home with a tiramisu, on top of it. The crew over there took great care of us, and made a lasting impression. The food is consistently excellent, the people are a pleasure - just go, promise you won't regret it!!!More

I went to Antonio's last night with my 2 cousins. We had reservations, but had to wait almost 30 min for a table. We were served promptly for drinks and appetizers. We didn't get appetizers because they brought the best focaccia bread to the table....The 3 of us ordered the linguine with white clam sauce. it's very hard to find good clam sauce in a restaurant, it's either watery and no taste or chopped clams (canned) and not real clams. This was the best I've ever had. Lots of clams in and out of the shell, with many cloves of garlic mixed in. What flavor. Any italian would know, the best part of this meal is, when you dip the bread in the left over sauce, and that was amazing within itself. We didn't eat dessert, because we were too full.More
