We were here with another couple for an outstanding late lunch. The two guys feasted on a bucket of Ipswich clams while the ladies watched us slurp them down. Then we had a variety of seafood dishes and one chicken, and everyone was quite happy. The restaurant is super clean, and crowded even for a late lunch. Plenty of room... More

The food was really fresh. The oysters were sweet and the blue crabs just succulent. The kids meals very well priced. I would suggest to stay away from combo, run of the mill dishes and go for the seasonal specials. The wait staff was casual but on top of things. They are also a market

On our way home from AC we were looking for a spot for lunch. On our Zagat rated POI's on our GPS, this restaurant popped up. It is a bit off the beaten track, but what a great find. Luckily, we were seated very quickly. There is a very limited beer and wine menu and extremely inexpensive at that. I... More

The meals here are typical of New Jersey beach resorts. Good, but just barely. The broiled seafood combo was OK, but the fish piece was small, the two shrimps barely large, and the crab cake - well it was under flavored and a bit short on the crab part - a disappointment for $16.95! A child's fried shrimp dinner was... More

Fresh seafood, great soup, good service. Crowded, especially in season though. Reasonable prices. On my go to list.

We had halibut and crab cakes- and they were both phenomenal. The side dishes did not compare. The baked potato was hard. The broccoli was fairly good except covered in butter. Not everyone wants butter. The service was okay. We were three generations of women, so I suspect that may have had something to do with it. I would definitely... More

Had lunch there today. Got there at 12 before it got crowded. Had the seafood bisque which was so delicious and a crab cake sandwich, which was totally awesome. Service was good and fast.

Fish doesn't get better than the fish being served here. From the clam strips to the swordfish steak to the oysters and shrimp. If your a chowder fan you hit pay-dirt the New England Clam Chowder is by far one of the best I ever had. For desert the fried banana whatever they call it is off the hook. Consistently... More
