I had passed New China House a million times as it is around the corner from my home and I had wanted to try it. It is not bad take out, nothing exciting but still good and they give you a large portion in their combo plate.
I had the chicken with broccoli and it was really good. They gave me a large portion of well-cooked chicken and a large portion of roast pork fried rice. It was cooked in a flavorful brown sauce and the pieces were large. They gave you a lot of well-cooked broccoli. I also ordered some roast pork lo mein and it was good. Not mind-blowing but good with lots of roast pork in it. Everything was well cooked and they gave you a lot of it.
If you want good take out Chinese-American cooking, New China House is worth checking out. The place is a little dumpy and sits in a strip mall that is not that exciting but if you are in a rush for a reasonably priced meal, this is the place for you.
