On a recent Saturday, I met up with family to enjoy a very delight lunch. King Tut restaurant is located in a small mall on Rt 22 in Lebanon. I did not expect to find such tasty and delicious food. Our group consisted of 7...people. Our server was able to remember our orders without writing anything down. For appetizers we ordered 2 combo platters which consisted of stuffed grape leaves, Baba Ganoush, hummus, falafel and other tasty foods. The meals were delicious. Several of us ordered chicken kababs, someone ordered Branzini fish, Mousaka and others ordered a shrimp dish. King Tut is BYO wine. Every meal was enjoyed,I would highly recommend this restaurant for a try at something different.More

I rarely write a review. This meal was fantastic. The house salad was refreshing, beautiful and yummy. The calamari were perfectly prepared. The lobster ravioli and duck were absolutely scrumptious. They have a fun atmosphere lit with a plethora of punched metal lanterns. The staff...was friendly and attentive. A nearby wine store made the bring your own bottle policy simple.More

after a few days of cold rainy weather, we needed a change, and a place that feels like the middle east was just the ticket. You could tell the waitress (coowner?) loves this food and made it her life's passion. Same for the cook. It's...not just me. The middle easterners I know love this place.More

My husband and I recently went here for dinner and it was by far the best meal we've had at a restaurant in a long time. I had the shrimp skewers with couscous and he had a chicken dish (don't remember what it was called?)...The pita bread and dip they give you was amazing! Our entrees were delicious! We both couldn't stop saying how yummy they were. We both had dessert and it was so good!!! I had a pudding with pistachios, it was so light and not super sweet. He had the baklava. It must have been good because he ate the whole thing!More

We've been going to King Tut in Lebanon for many years and we recently hosted party there for 30 people. Owner Kal Nasr was very helpful with the planning and was completely open to our wishes. He made several suggestions that were very helpful to...us regarding the menu, alcohol sourcing, and the seating. He also made the party room available beforehand so that we could do some decorating, which was also extremely helpful. On the day of the party, things could not have gone more smoothly. Alex and the staff provided friendly and efficient service and the food was, as always, delicious. We had asked for a selection of "finger food" to be served when people were arriving and before they were seated. We were served plates of shrimp, meat balls, mini crab cakes, and bite-size mozzarella, all of which were excellent. For dinner we had arranged with Kal to offer a selection of four entrees: Norwegian salmon, grouper, chicken francese, and beef shawarma. All the entrees were delicious, and the beef shawarma was singled out by our guests as something truly special. Perhaps the best indication of the appeal of the food was that even our picky "meat and potatoes" eaters raved about it. We placed our complete trust in King Tut for this special event and were rewarded with a truly memorable party.More

Had a wonderful meal there. I would have never thought NJ would have such a fine Middle Eastern restaurant. My friend and I met there for linner (late lunch early dinner). We shared an appetizer special for 2. It had grape leaves, falafel, hummus, babaganoush, and...fried cauliflower patties. We had today's specials- duck with a fig sauce, and a lamb shank with pasta. Everything was delicious. We did share a homemade dessert- it was a cake with nuts, fruit with honey. The waiter said it was made by the owner's wife.I had middle eastern tea,the waiter took the time to tell us how tea is drank in different parts of the middle east. I recommend the items I ate, the appetizer, duck and dessert. My friend who suggested this restaurant loved the lamb shank. She has been her before, and I would take a trip from Staten Island to come again. The waiter was attentive and took time explaining the specials. The restaurant is handicapped accessible. It is on US 22E- if you go in the first driveway drive around the building it's on the other side. There is a second entrance to the strip mall, going in that entrance you will see the restaurant. There is no liquor here.. But they have a nice assortment of non alcoholic drinks.More

Enjoyed the roasted beet salad; dressing on the side. The greens were crisp and fresh. Also enjoyed the vegetarian couscous; sauce on the side. I requested my vegetables be roasted or sauteed, not grilled. Tasty carrots, zucchini, onions, portobello mushrooms. I would order both of...those dishes again. The apple pie was good but not great. When I return, I will try the baklava.More
