When one of your specials for the night is Lasagna and some of the pasta in this staple dish is rock hard and the ground beef is in large chunks and not broken up and smoothly spread throughout the dish........ When you don't replace rain and rust soaked ceiling tiles in your tiny dining room........ When you greet your customers... More

We had a very good experience, with very good food and excellent service. We all ordered off the specials menu (blackboard), and for two appetizers, four entrees, two desserts and coffees the total was about $140 (plus the tip). Very reasonably priced BYO. Service was excellent, both bringing our order and clearing plates, refilling water and bread, etc. The place... More

The place is tiny and in need of some updates. The food was good but the owner, while nice and friendly, should have a corner in NY where he plays the shell game. Hold on to your wine glass at this BYO establishment. Rick arrives to chat with his empty glass in hand and always leaves with a full one...yours!... More

I ordered the spanish mackerel special, although the portion was small for the price ($24.00) it was good. My wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana which came on tap of mound of overcooked linguini which made the plate look like a mound of mush, the dish was horrible, the worse lasagna she ever tasted she forced herself to take a few... We came for dinner and it was delicious. Our waitress was warm and friendly. The dip with the bread was fabulous!!! This restaurant asks people to pay cash which was no problem! Thank you!!!

Very small restaurant. Authentic italian food that was expertly prepared. obviously well know by the locals, as it was packed ! Be aware it is a BYOB. Also know that the tables are packed in pretty tight - be prepared to be cozy. Only downside is it does get quite noisy !! Worth a visit.

Visiting Philadelphia with friends and, instead of eating fabulous Italian food in some of the great Philadelphia restaurant we decided to drive north into the countryside. Ricks came highly recommended. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Chopped salads was good and fresh. Featured lasagna was not. Tough noodles. Sauce that tasted like it came out off a can. Not good. Friend ordered sample platter.... More

I went to this Restaurant several years ago and thought it was great. Recently, the experience has not been pleasant. The manager conveys the sense she wants you to gobble the food and be gone! It is BYOB but if you ask for a bucket to chill the wine, the request appears to be a burden. On my last visit,... More

...and be prepared to eat some of the best food since Nonna cooked red gravy all day Sunday. The small dining room is cozy with paneling reminiscent of my childhood (yes, I'm that old). Barbara, the hostess/server made us feel like family. Upon first glance, the menu seems pretty basic...but looks can be deceiving. The food is great! The specials... More
