Ever since Da's in Hopewell changed hands, we've been looking for a go to eatery. Well we finally found it at El Tule. A lovely set up, which I can't wait to experience in the warmer weather (they have a lovely outside dining area as well as inside). With multiple delicious ceviche's we chose the Limonho, which was just glorious.... More

Excellent, fresh ingredients, properly prepared and beautifully served in a cheery dinning room, typical of home style Latin American restaurants. Wonderful, friendly service, but be patient, everything is made to order with no obvious short cuts, so showtimes the wait for food can be a bit long. But settle in and enjoy a beverage or your byob and have a... More

This is such a Lambertville gem. Excellent food (their ceviche is among the best I've ever had). Great menu options. The most considerate staff. A wonderful dining experience every time.

Really do not like to write reviews like this, but after today's lunch experience I think it necessary. First, they were clearly understaffed when we first arrived even though they were not quite full yet. We ordered soup and an order of guac as an appetizer, but instead of those coming out first, they came out with our entrees. They... More

What a great restaurant! It's cozy, clean, and bright. The food was excellent, and plentiful. We started with the chorizo fundido, and the complimentary warm chips and 3 salsas. Try the tacu tacu with red snapper, simply delicious. Great wait staff too.

My husband and I have been to El Tule & it's sister restaurant Quinoa in Doylestown on several occasions. I had the carapulcra and it was phenomenal! It was perfect on a cold, winter's day. The flautas were also quite delicious, but my husband only shared 1 bite!! Fresh tortilla chips made our date night even better. Can't wait to... More

I visited El Tule May 10, 2016 with my daughter and a friend. My daughter and I are vegans and our friend has a LOT of serious food allergies. Needless to say, the three of us don't usually find a place where we can eat out. We had been wandering around New Hope for a few hours and were starving,... More

We live in New hope, we visited for the first time last week. We parked and followed our noses to the source of the delicious smell. At first glance , it appears as a pizza style place. Ignore the ambiance and go with your smell and taste senses. The food is fresh and authentic. Great Find

We have visited El Tule numerous times and have always had an incredible meal. The freshness, presentation and flavors of the food is a true testament of outstanding and authentic Peruvian cuisine. Service is excellent also. Fausto and his daughter Silvia make you feel as if you are part of the family. Can't wait to return.

Description
The love of family, friends and great food is a tradition for the Egoavils.Having relocated to the United States from Peru in 1992, they sought the opportunities their new home offered. They have now realized their family dream of owning and operating their own restaurant. El Tule was previously the home of another restaurant offering Mexican fare. The Egoavil Family has infused the eatery with a vibe all its own. El-Tule’s Mexican-Latin fusion includes traditional Mexican offerings as well as the addition of Peruvian menu items. Peruvian food has been gaining momentum among foodies across the nation, and prior to El Tule was extremely hard to find in the Delaware Valley. El Tule offers both indoor and outdoor dining. Guests may bring their own wine or alcohol of choice. Our patio is dog friendly.Subpages
