The exact origin of the name Hopatcong is unknown, though it is most commonly attributed to the Lenape Indian word for "stone water," or "stone over water". We live 20 minutes from Stone Water, but had never visited. Rest assured, we will visit again. Service was immediate, friendly, efficient.
