We were recently visiting in the area and checked out TA for a good lunch restaurant. Lighthouse Tavern was #1 and we decided to give it a try! Great decision and great lunch. The restaurant is in an old building and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent, and our lunches were outstanding. Nothing elaborate as I... More

This place has been here a long time and the neighborhood has grown around it. It is always there to welcome you with a great atmosphere and great food, professional service and great dink menu. They also have a pastry chef so this is one of those places where dessert is worth it.

Great meal, great atmosphere and the best service! Ate outside after passing a few waterfront restaurants but made reservation because of reviews. Not disappointed!

Lunch: I had lobster roll, came with potato chips and coleslaw. Lots of lobster but with little taste, very tough and watery. Which are all signs the lobster had been frozen, not fresh. Coleslaw average, chips spicy but good. Husband had the Friday special: Prime Rib French Dip, with horseradish sauce and onion rings. Meat was tough and dry, horseradish... More

In a New Adventure with my husband found this excellent gourmet restaurant by the Exchange Place in NJ! The Manager went overboard to make us feel welcomed! The server was unique! Food was delicious! The restaurant offered a cheese plate and have a variety of wines. The restaurant's ambience is trendy.

We've been at this place a few times and enjoyed quite a bit. They offer good food and the drink selection is surprisingly good too. The ambiance is cosy and super pleasant, both inside and out.

love the Lighthorse, good beer on tap, craft beers and Belgium triples. Oysters are some of the best around. Read this review and then go.
