Fresh and tasty. Awesome peanut sauce with the satays. Delicious pork and chicken. Service was good. Nice quiet little place.

Revisited this establishment after initially having lunch there several years ago. Glad we decided to stop by. The service was good and food was fantastic. My only issue was that they were slow on offering a second round of drinks. But the food made up for it!

My daughter just moved to Jersey City, and we took her for lunch to this lovely restaurant. It has been there for 17 years. Fabulous food, pleasant service, reasonable prices. We will be back!

Solid if not spectacular Vietnamese restaurant in JC. I would give it 3.5 stars if TA allowed. Food is authentic, but not overly flavorful. Ca phe sua da about the same, but it's hard to go wrong there. I didn't think prices were unreasonable, but done expect cart banh mi prices. Come with measured expectations and you'll be pleased.

My wife and frequent this place often. We recommend the lean pork for dinner and the bread pudding for dessert.

I went to Saigon Cafe for the first time today with a group of friends, as it was one of the top rated restaurants within walking distance from home. Even though I didn't have a lot of expectations going in, I was pleasantly surprised by the place - the interiors, the staff and most importantly, the food. Probably because we... More

This is the real deal. A family run business whom is local and cares about their craft. The food is home cooked, delicious, and authentic. My husband and I love coming here, every meal did not disappoint. Extensive menu and compares with food I've had when in Vietnam !

There is nothing I hate more than wasting hard earned money on an overpriced mediocre meal. I had a bowl of less than average pho for $14! The shrimp summer rolls were $8. THAT'S CRAZY! The service was good...but I just cannot shake how bad I feel about spending so much money for pho. I will stick to my hole... More

The entire restaurant radiates a family-owned restaurant. The interior is as it gets when picking up things without having an interior decorator, personal without being clumsy. The range for lunch was limited but with a little guidance you end up right. The Vietnamese cuisine is nowhere near as spicy as its neighbors, but with chilli paste and fish sauce highlights dishes. The entire neighborhood... Saigon Cafe is a small Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Jersey City. The interior is simply decorated but attractive. Tables are a bit small, but if the restaurant isn't crowded, the staff will put two tables together without being asked. The restroom was immaculate. Service is friendly, efficient, and discreet. The menu is remarkably diverse, with specialties you probably can't get... More
