We wanted someplace close to our hotel that was open on Monday. I actually noticed this restaurant when I was looking at a map for another restaurant. We decided to try it. We got the Achari Aloo, potatoes cooked in spices and pickle sauce (sounds...weird but tasted great) and Bhindi Masala, okra cooked in spices. Both came with rice and we also got a mango lassi (one of the best I’ve had) and paratha, a flat bread with butter filling. The next night we got the chicken Achari and the kati roll. Both were good. We ordered Seekh Kabab, Chicken Malai Kabab and Bun Kabab. Some of the pieces of Chicken Malai Kabab were not fully cooked, I could see pick chicken. The taste was very bland, not inline with the name of the restaurant. Laree Adda should give a...very flavorful experience. As for Ban Kabab it was the worst, they don't know how to make bun kabab, it had kabab patty, tomatos and catchup, that's not how ban kabab is made. Please learn it and fix it. After scouting a lot of places in jersey city for a good Desi meal “Laree Adda” makes it to the top of the list .
