Great spot. When you are served, you ca. tell whoever prepared your plate really cares about the food. Presentation is very good. Brussels sprouts are excellent. I had the short rib sandwich, excellent. My friend had French toast. Looked s sumptuous.

So my Son and I took my wife out for her birthday. We picked this place strictly on reviews and photo gallery. Looked cute with a nice outdoor section. To start with we had a big "ask" of the restaurant when we arrived and Jennie...(their wonderful Hostess) was able to accommodate us without issue. We were escorted to the back of the restaurant and through a small doorway and down a step to their cozy bar and spent some pleasurable time with the bartendar Eddie (whose barcraft and humor were exceptional). I heard they had to restock the bar after we left. They called us when our table was ready and our server Valentino was attentive to all our needs. We were also introduced to Theo the manager who shared his experiences in the business with us as well as his love for Barth's. The food like the staff was exceptional starting out with apps like Jumbo Lump Crab cake and Duck Croquettes with unexpectedly delicious crispy golden Brussel sprouts. We followed with entrees Black Angus Flat Iron Steak @ $36 (ummm), Flemish Carbonnade @$32, and Tuna Special @ $47. All entrees were delich as were out deserts of cappuccino, Gelato Sorbet and Bread Pudding. Their wines averaged about $16/glass while IPA's abour $8. Parking is horrific so check out parking garages nearby (there are at least 2 with a couple of blocks of the place). Out door seating is available in a very small but quant European style platz. Thanks to all of you for making our visit with you guys so memorable!! This is our new best restaurant in Hudson county.More

Satis is a small corner place, very casual, which was recommended for its food, which was quite good, for a basic brunch, with some creative touches like small salad atop an omelet, and French Toast that tastes like cake. The egg-white frittata was small, but...delicious. However, I was shocked when the bill came and a 20% gratuity had been added for a party of five people - with no warning. I would have tipped much more than that (I always tip heavily for early-day meals, because the servers make less than dinner servers), so the management's avarice cost their server money. Will not return based on this practice.More

As winter has arrived, Satis Bistro has safe dining unlike other eateries. Before Satis Bistro was a restaurant many years ago, it was a commercial space having ceilings this writer guesses are 27 feet high. In this cavernous space, high above me there are fans....In accordance with current dining requirements of the State of New Jersey, all tables are spaced more than 12 feet apart! It's a real safe space! My evening dinner was as fine as usual at Satis Bistro. I started with an arugula salad with shaved parmesano-romano cheeses, along with a glass of semi-dry Riesling. My main course was perfectly grilled hanger steak (e.g. onglet, en francais) which was unusually tender for the cut, and cooked "medium". It was accompanied with thin-cut French fries. With the meat, I ordered a Oregon pinot noir. Dessert was a home-made chocolate semi-freddo: Just what the doctor ordered! By the way, many locals order "dinners-to-go". Satis Bistro is on Washington Street and in the beautiful Marcus Hook neighborhood. Parking is easy, and for pedestrians, it's just a quick walk from the Grove Street PATH station.More

Our group of 3 had a great meal. Very innovative Italian food. Not your usual pasta shop. Reasonable prices and great staff.

Great location, excellent food, attentive service.... nothing to complain about... however. We only stayed for one course the atmosphere overwhelmed by two groups of young, very noisy people...who spent the evening shouting at each other... perhaps they don’t get out much? Shame really that I...will take that memory away. The owner apologised, but I could see the group were superficially good for business.More

Not only do they offer and cook great gluten-free dishes but the owner greets you with style and makes you feel like you are going to have the best meal...ever. And believe me you are. My wife and I dined there this evening. Staff was friendly, service was very good. I had the bouillabaisse which was excellent. My wife thought the gnocchi was OK. We were surprised the no bread was served with or before the meal. We are accustomed...to having bread with olive oil dip served at Italian restaurants. Nevertheless we did enjoy our meals and had plenty to eat. Neat atmosphere in an old building with outdoor dining as an optionMore

This was our last night in Jersey City - we were staying just around the corner. Walked in to find a wonderfully busy bar and restaurant with great ambience. Short wait for a table, but was well worth it for wonderful food (seafood bouillabaisse and...crispy cod). Excellent service and great food.More

Visiting from the UK and staying just around the corner, we tried this out after looking at the reviews. We were not disappointed, the waiter advised it was a new menu. Both the pork and chicken dishes were excellent, staff very helpful. We had a...small table in the bar area and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of a New Jersey Bistro on a Friday evening.More

Satis is small quiet, and intimate. Service was wonderful. My water glass was never down more than 2 inches before it was refilled. I had the Risotto Gamberi Prawns in Lobster Saffron Broth. Delicious. 2 in our party had the Spaghetti e Vongole Spaghetti...and Chili Flakes, Steamed Manila Clams, Garlic and White Wine. They both loved it. Our 4th had the Moules-Frites Steamed Mussels in Spicy Saffron Broth, French Fries with Tomato Aioli. This restaurant is a 5 minute walk from our girls apartment and it is their favorite place.More
