We went there with another couple to eat outdoors and enjoy the warm weather. We sat on the porch at the law office next store. The tomato soup was very good as was all the meals. The shrimp Louisiana, pork tenderloin, and zucchini cakes were...excellent. Definitely a must try when in the Burg.More

My mom and I went here for lunch. Normally they only have to go until 4 when they open the patio, but the gentleman said he would wait on us even though his staff wasn't in yet. Mom had the crab meat grilled cheese with...French fries and she said it was delicious. I had the chicken stir fry and the vegetables were all crisp and fresh and yummy. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back maybe for dinner next time. Nice new find in Jamesburg!More

From the moment my party walked onto "Carl's Porch" (the Archer Law office next door has let Fiddleheads use their beautiful outdoor seating for outdoor dining) everything was absolutely exquisite. The Grab-N-Go menu that they have adapted for outdoor dining has a selection for everyone,...from Orange Brandied Salmon to a Grilled Ribeye and phenomenal Burger! In addition, we ordered two appetizers - their famous Bangin Shrimp which was spectacular, and their Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts. Outdoor dining done right with great service and a smile behind each server's mask.More

Two of us Dined here on a Wednesday evening ,bistro was busy , we were seated immediately. I had the French onion soup , excellent, 3 types of cheese with plenty on onions . The man in courses were the catfish with risotto, Ive never...had catfish , it was delicious , moist and cooked perfectly as was the risotto. The other main course was the open face steak sandwich , cooked beautifully with a good size portion . Atmosphere was awesome , Cory our server was attentive and extremely pleasant , as was the other staff. We never felt rushed , very welcoming as if everyone were family . I took the peanut butter chocolate tart home and devoured it , it was delicious . Highly recommend Fiddleheads.More

Came with friends for dinner on a Saturday night at 6 PM. Restaurant never got to 100% occupancy although it was pretty full, yet the noise level never rose much at all for a small space. Food was very good, service even better. All had...fish for dinner and everyone was pleased. Same with the small salad that was included. All in all we came away pleased and will be back.More

What a major let down....but to be fair...what was good? Parking, BYOB, atmosphere, hummus, a singular roll and butter. What wasn't good? Portions are small but prices are large, salad is lousy-mostly frilly lettuce, artichoke dressing? TASTELESS. Brussel sprout appetizer? TASTELESS Louisiana Shrimp? TASTELESS Chicken...fried steak, good but left hungry.... Bill for 2 people with one appetizer and two main courses? $70.00...coming back..no. The chef did ask us how the meals were and we told him...he explained that the food we ordered basically wouldn't be very flavorful, except for "Old Bay Seasoning" (which there was no flavor of to be discerned). I would have LOVED to have discovered a new restaurant that we could return to, but I cannot think of one reason to return unless you want bland food, small portions and high prices? I am always looking for a nice place to return to, but this place isn't anything special.More

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. It is a BYOW (bring your own wine) place, but there is NO corkage fee!

Thank you for writing. We do not bill our restaurant as organic or farm-to-table, though many of our fresh ingredients do come from New Jersey-based suppliers, and some ingredients may be organic. Most of our fishes are... More

We like to say, "If you think you look good, we think you look good!" We don't mandate any specific attire, but some of our customers enjoy getting "dressed up" for dinner.
