An awesome place for delicious seafood and cocktails. Summer time hangout with beautiful views of the bay. The food is excellent and the music on the back dock is very relaxing, service is great and the oysters exceptional, not the run of the mill variety. It couldn't be better unless the move to the carribean.

A sunny, 60-degree day in the middle of February provided my wife and me with all the incentive we needed to jump in the car and drive down to the Jersey shore. An hour later, we found ourselves at the foot of the Sandy Hook Nat’l Park causeway in Highlands NJ. It was there that we found Bahr’s Landing Seafood... More

It seemed so promising - great location on the water, a warm welcome when we arrived, fun decor with years of interesting memorabilia, crayons and coloring menus for the children. And then our "waitress" arrived and things went downhill - clearly she was having a bad day as requests for replacement silverware and water for the table were met with... More

I've eaten here with my family for many years and never been disappointed! Lobster, fish, clams, mussels, burgers… even the BEST Thanksgiving Day meal you ever had! Great portions and wonderful service! I always feel as if I'm coming home when I walk in the door and smell the old wood and briny aroma of great seafood!

Made the mistake of coming back to this place! Favorite area restaurant was closed. Low life staff trying to be high life staff from the overly hyper bartender to the very rude over medicated "hostess". The last time the service was so awful the waitress didn't even deserve the penny she got. If you want qualified service and non fried... More

We've eaten here many times and never had a bad experience... however, my friend and I were here last Sunday to celebrate his birthday and had a terrible meal. We each had the fisherman's platter, which we've had many times, only this time the shrimp was overcooked and the lobster you couldn't cut... not even with a steak knife. We... More

It's like going to a garage sale, some items are deals, some at a proper price point while others are over valued. Depending on what you select will determine in part your rating. I was there for lunch about 12:30 and it was a cool cloudy day with a breeze. They have a large free parking lot and no pretentious... More

We love the Jersey shore and take every opportunity to go there. This weekend was restaurant week at the Shore so we went to one of our favorite places. Located on the bay and ocean at the same time. The begining of the Jersey Shore.

Bahrs has been around forever. It stands the test of time because of the great food and nice atmosphere. Fresh fish cooked properly, nice clean side like roasted potatoes and string beans. Real shore eating. Next chance you get, head over there, you won't be sorry.

My wife and I visited this location for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. We were seated promptly and quickly began to enjoy our dining experience. We opted out of the turkey dinner and instead ordered items off the regular menu. My wife ordered the lobster bisque with a shot of sherry for starters and the lobster and potato encrusted barramundi as... More
