My wife and I went for restaurant week, we ordered the main dish it was supposed to be braised short ribs it was more like stringy pot roast. The apps were not very good and the chocolate cake must have been kept in the freezer.

Well I figured Id guve ut another try. Epic fail. Ordered takeout. 3 meals w a childs spaghetti. $104.00. No salad, very little bread. If the meal says lump crab meat dont get exciited, they give u 3 pcs of crabmeat. Overpriced disgrace and when...I called to discuss w the Mgr Angela, she was as rude as rude could be. She acted like I was tryin to get something for free, like it was my fault, I expected salad w a $30 entree. As of this review I will NEVER eat there again nor will anyone I know, if you are looking for friendly, good food and dont want to get robbed, stay away from this joint.More
We had not eaten here for several years, and the food was even better than we remembered. We focused on appetizers: apple and shrimp salad (wonderful), calamari (nice and crisp), sausage with figs (unbelievable), and fried mozzarella (very flavorful and not greasy). Our server, Cash,...was upbeat, friendly, efficient, and masked. So it was surprising that the decor was so drab. Gray walls and black napkins? Hmmm ... A couple of flowers or flameless candles on the tables would have brightened things up considerably. The hostesses were not wearing masks, which surprised us.More
The food is average at best, the wait staff and management are hurried, inattentive and snooty which makes this over priced average food establishment not really worth it. To add insult to injury $9 for a thin over fried Canolli shell not even made with...ricotta filling.More
Uncomfortable giving this restaurant 1 star because the experience is usually positive but I do want to bring attention to an issue. I have come here for many celebrations including a 30 person event for my fathers 60th. Today my wife, myself, and my two...toddler children stopped in for lunch. The Host (Nick) barely acknowledged us and was focused on the phone. We waited about 5 minutes until he finished but then proceeded to make another phone call. After about 10 min my wife was furious so I told her to take the kids to the car. The Host then quickly hung up the phone and was unbothered and unapologetic. We chose to go elsewhere for lunch. I request that management address the situation so that the Host understands importance of customer service.More
For my mom’s 99th Birthday I ordered food for eleven people to be catered at our house. We are all of Italian descent so there was lots of pressure for the food to be good. The food arrived hot and it was delicious. Angela was...very kind and helped to determine quantities to order. Thank you Tre Famiglia for doing such a great job for this special day.More
The title of my review about sums it up. Not as good as I expected. We went for lunch on a Saturday. The place was empty. The mozzarella fritti app was decent. My husband had the pork Milanese and risotto and enjoyed that. My daughter...had the kids spaghetti with pink sauce. It was a little expensive for a kids portion. I had the gnocchi in pink sauce, based on the server’s recommendation. It was not good. It was edible, but flavorless and watery and the gnocchi did not taste homemade. My daughter had the same sauce and hers was 10 times better. I would not rush back. There are too many other restaurants in the area that are way better.More
My wife is having back surgery this week and cannot walk far so Valentine's Day at a restaurant was out. Instead we wanted to order a Valentine's Day dinner to pick up from a local restaurant. We had eaten here often in the past and...always liked it so it seemed perfect. When I went on line to order, I found they would not accept an order for pick up more than an hour in advance. So I waited until 4 p.m. and went online and now it said online ordering was not available. I called and said the website was not working and was told that on-line ordering was now closed. I asked if I could place an order by phone and they said sorry, they were no longer accepting orders for pick-up. Nowhere on their website did they say there was a deadline or cut-off for online orders or pick-up orders. I thought restaurants were trying to come back from the effects of the pandemic and we are happy to help - but don't turn away your loyal customers. At least let people know what your hours and policies are -especially on a special day,More
A real terrific night. The atmosphere was romantic. Table was for two. A little narrow and long. We were seated near the door, which kept opening. A little cold. The menu was well written. We started with soup. The chicken was good? But the Crab...Bisque was outstanding. Next mussels. A big plate full. The marinara sauce was excellent. T Bread was good. For the mains, Sea-bass special. It was excellent but wasn’t Sea Bass. Bronzino. My date had the mixed seafood over pasta. A creamy blush sauce. The scallops were great. Overall it was very good. My recommendations, do not keep running inside to out. Or added a vestibule to keep the cold out. Improve your waiters professionalism. Laughing and joking around in the kitchen should not be heard. Lastly if you run out of a particular item, you should tell the guest. But it was great..More
If you are looking for an Italian Restaurant in South Jersey that is BYOB then look no further! This place is amazing! I love the fried cheesecake, oh yeah and the pasta is unbelievable too!
Ordered Mother’s Day dinner and was asked what timeI wanted to pick it up. My reply was, “you tell me”. Was told 5:30 and My husband got there at that time. He was told by staff member that “they were totally overwhelmed by the orders...they had received by last Wednesday and they never should have taken orders past Wednesday”. We were told it would be another hour. After repeatedly receiving updates that my ticket was on the line and then that it was close to the end of the line, I was then told the kitchen was filling random orders and it would be another hour. By this time it was 7:50 pm and all other restaurants would be closing. My family did not get to have dinner with their mother on Mother’s Day. Not sure how they’re going to survive with business skills this poor.More
Planned a dinner get together with two girlfriends. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our waiter was Chris and he was excellent at his job and explaining the specials on the menu that evening. I have to also acknowledge the young men who were...busing tables. They couldn't have been more accommodating whether for more bread or to wrap up leftovers. I enjoyed the crab cake famiglia, another diner had bronzino which was a special, and the other roberto pollo. I will definitely be back for another meal in the near future.More
We ate at Tre Famiglia a few weeks ago with our theater group, that night consisting of three couples. Both the food and service were top notch. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions about the menu items, including...the specials. He stopped back several times and cheerfully replaced my wife’s entree when she pointed out that her risotto was only lukewarm. Everything we had was delicious. We can recommend for appetizers Tre Famiglia’s regular Caesar & their special pear and goat cheese ball salads, for entrees their beef tenderloin& special halibut, risotto, veggies. And last for dessert, any of their tartufos [especially for chocolate lovers!]. We’ll definitely be back. One added value for us, Tre Famiglia is BYOB.More
Accommodated a dozen of us. Romantic soft atmosphere with small Italian hometown feel. Server told us specials and basically we wanted one of each. Amazing apps, salads, gnocchi, calamari...everyone shared and loved. Entrees came out with perfect timing. Once again all at table raving. Mrs...and I shared filet special and halibut special. Both superb. Great time, great food, byob, really good value too.More
We had a delicious meal for my birthday at Tre Famiglia. They have a scratch kitchen and are located in a very nice spot in Haddonfield, NJ.
